Why don't you take away half of the politicians retirement like they do all the blue collar workers, just tell them there is no more money left for their retirement funds. I'm sure there is not any money thats why you are taxing everything that moves

why don't we raise the state sales tax to 13% and maybe add 15 or 20 cents per gallon of fuel tax, add a $1.00 per bottle on boos, then maybe we would have to hire some more idiots to help us spend it all let me know what the ole governor thinks of my ideas. thank you, john burgess, msjb@2hotmail.com

why not forget upper new your state,and raise the sales tax to 11% in nyc. Raise the income taxes on the rich to the same as they pay in new jersey, and do the same as you have to smokers and add $1.00 per container to all alcohol beverages can you imagine what the state would haul in with that drinking tax, man what and idea I come up with should be on the tax team in albany If some one needs me I'd be able to work for you all in albany I'd like to make some of that easy money you law makers make yes I sure would enjoy that kind of wages and heck I'd even pay extra taxes on my wages without crying about it. john burgess, msjb12@hotmail.com

they are trying to keep most of us so poor and make it so we can't sell our homes so we can leave this state so they can keep us here to pay more higher taxes I don't see why they did not raise sales tax to 10% but thats proberly in the next plan I live on SS but not for long If I can sell I'll proberly get a speeding ticket leaving this state unless they can make NYC a new state so the rest of new york can survive My dad moved us to wellsville ny in the fiftys cause he could not afford living in NYC but I think he went in the wrong direction so many empty stores where we live it looks like three mile island is right here in our county I feel some how the people have to clean out all of the lawmakers and take back the government for the people and not just for the rich I think we need to start a movement march on albany and get rid of all the dead heads in our government, the reason they had decisions behind closed doors is that most of them fall asleep in their chairs you ever see them nodding off at meeting what a joke they are they would never make it in the blue collar work force they would all be in the unemployment lines.

why don't you do something to help a couple live on 24,000 a year we even are trying to raise a grandaughter and a great grandaughter there is not enough money out of our social security to pay any more taxes, I get sick every time I hear state law makers wanting more perks its ajoke I think you should get rid of 1 out of every 2 lawmakers and let each one left fill in for the layed off ones kind of like blue collar workers do when some one does not show up for work they can pitch in and fill in, Heck if you only need three people to make up all these crazy taxes you sure would be able to get rid some lawmakers, looks like you can stand to get rid of a lot of people. It reminds me of my boss back in the sixtys he used to say the only way to make things more efficent was to bank the turn by the timeclock.
