Well Sir, I do?try to put all "friendships" into perspective.

We do live on other sides of the planet....(which is pretty cool...)...so we can't help each other with yard work.

So in that respect, in my attempt at reaching out for new ideas and new perspectives I enjoy our friendship.

Besides, we share the same?last name, we may be brothers.....haha...

Have you ever heard of Ebeneezer Gould?....sorry, another topic.

There's a song?by Tracy Lawrence titled, "You find out who your friends are"....

I asked a friend of mine the other day to go sailing.....he wanted to stay home and play on the computer......his choice.....not mine......I went sailing.....I wonder if all of our "reaching" out around the internet / world can have a negative affect on our interpersonal communication skills....and even more scarry is realizing that "bradhart" is only wearing his underwear while on the computer.....again, their choice, not mine.....peace.....

I have never, nor will I ever “tweet”…. It’s my choice. Remember chat rooms? Are they still out there? It’s all garbage in my opinion…. The world is full of lost souls searching for an internet connection. Why don’t we just walk down any busy side walk or cafe and “tweet” to everyone who passes by? Because people would think we were crazy. We communicate with people “online” who we probably wouldn’t hold a door for or them us…. My problem is, all my friends in the real world don’t share my interests or passions….I need new REAL friends….. Keep up the good work Scott.

I have room for 4 of us....its not a cruise ship..... :-)

I am going out sailing?tomorrow, weather permiting....we are in the middle of Monsoon season here.

Had a small storm blow through last night...we need the rain.

Robin is very good....
"Wing It".... is the name of my sailboat...haha... The boat was named so for the special "winged" keel it is equipped with. This special designed keel allows the boat to perform better . At the time I purchased the boat, it was not the most responsible thing to do financially. But the name fit my circumstances as well as the boats design and now holds true to what I've begun to embrace in my life and the world around me. We can plan, set goals, have hopes and dreams but really we are all just “Winging It”..
A note on confidence:..I ran across this quote by the French writer Alexander Dumas, "A person who doubts himself is like a man who would enlist in the ranks of his enemies and bear arms against himself. He makes his failure certain by himself being the first person to be convinced of it"

Hello Scott,

I didn't intend on writing poetry. (thank you for referring to it as such)

After all, I think this is supposed to be a business blog....

I had lunch with a co-worker yesterday.

Her personal life is affecting her job performance.

She is a smart woman, but not formally educated above 12th grade.

I tried to share my experiences with her and communicate a sense of purpose and hope.

Bottom line, she has a misserable job and managment is the problem.

How do we fix management?

Just some late night thoughts....

Years will drift by one day at a time.

Hello Scott,
It was by chance that I stumbled across your blog. I was searching for a video I uploaded onto YouTube when your site came up in the results. I still haven’t found my video. Anyways, I read your front page and thought it was very interesting other than the fact we share the same name but how similar our views are. I liked the Gucci quote, I don’t believe I’ve heard that before but it does ring true.
