There are as many reasons to love customization as to hate it. I followed my young teenager to Myspace in 2004 and am more active than she is now since many of her college mates are on Facebook. She tells me Myspace still feels more like home.

I became very active in the Myspace customization community where fabulous profiles abound that rival professional web designers. They are right along side 15 year olds with accounts that will put your eyes out - it's the "it also rains on the unjust" dilemma.
You can't have one side without the other.

Myspace still feels like home to me too and their new Karaoke section is great. I like it much more than Singsnap (which I no longer use). The apps on Myspace are just "ok for me", but the real draw has always been the ways to tie people together in forums as well as your own groups which you can customize as well as music players for your own page.

No matter how many times I try to interact on Facebook, I still keep coming back.....home.
