surprised by the customer service at smileys cafe (near worthing high) today. Ordered poached eggs of which one was over cooked (I had a bite of it) so I ask for a replacement and the chef comes out arguing the toss with me and tries to charge me for an extra egg because id eaten some of it what an idiot. wont be going back there! Oh and your wafer thin tesco value ham is shit too chap!!! -rage over

im concerned about the speaker placement on the xoom. If im watching video I want the speakers facing me not away. They also risk getting muffled.

Does anyone know where the speakers will be located on the hp touchpad?

I like having T9 in portrait mode for single handed use (holding a brolly while walking and texting?). If I wanted a portrait qwerty then I would need two hands at which point I would want to turn it landscape to make the keyboard bigger and easier to use...

What about the hz refresh rate? 120hz made a huge difference for me playing FPS games (quake 3 in my case) even though it was 5ms. I use the viewsonic VX2268.

If this samsung has 120hz aswell then I would be very tempted

the n97 wouldn't be capable of running s^3. s^3 requires graphics acceleration

this is exactly what i'm after. I was a former spinvox user now using hullomail I have really missed the text transcription. It allowed to me to, quickly, check my messages at times when it is innapropriate to use phone

thanks for your help. If I enable contacts sync on mfe will all the google contacts go on to my phone as that would drive me mad! Do you know if you can set it one way?

I've been using hullomail now for a month now and its been great. I was a former spinvox user which I had enjoyed but recently the voice transcriptions had become very hit and miss.

The problem i've found with hullomail is that on s60 (n97 user) hullo mail can't get access to your contacts so when you get a voicemail it doesn't say who it is. I understant it does this on the blackberry and iphone so why not s60! :(

Is there a work around to this? I am a googlemail user btw.

to highlight text you need to get out the cursor tool which you can enable by dragging from the left of the screen. So wipe from the black area then a cursor box appears which you can click - I think anyway :)

I'm wondering whether to wait too see if an N920 is just around the corner. I'm being cautious as I don't want a repeat of what happened with the n97 where the mini came only after a few of months fixing all the originals bugs and hardware issues

I dropped my n97 down the toilet the other day (not in anger with it!) I would love to upgrade to the N900. does anyone know if maemo 6 will come out on the n900 ?
