Well, at least she's calling out the doc on his hypocrisy. And in a way, the writers are, too. Could it be they're in on the joke, and we're not supposed to sympathize with the doctor?

Of course, I guess it's also possible that the moral of the story is that guy feelings are okay but girl feelings are not.

You know, Tex, if you're going to make pieces of cloth fly, you might wanna do it to pieces of cloth that are actually attached to you. I look forward to when you lose your balance and break your neck while flying that thing a meter off the ground without a helmet or any other sort of protection.

This guy's supposed to be a scientist, and he doesn't realize that the best way to make a robot stand still in a glass case in a museum is to simply switch it off?

Now excuse me while I turn this light off by unscrewing the lightbulb. Ow. Ow. Why does it hurt when I touch the light bulb? It must be broken! I'll fix it by installing a DIFFERENT light bulb.

See, this is the actual cause of all those weird disasters that other super heroes have to fix. I'm sure Superman was around the corner somewhere, ready to blow out the oil fire with super-breath or something. Because he can totally blow out an oil-fire.

Actually, as someone who works in print, I can tell that this is actually a printing error rather than a coloring artist's mistake. Notice how all the color is a little lower than the lines?
