נכון אבל יש פה מצב של ביצה ותרנגולת. אם באים למשקיעים מוקדם בלי משתמשים או הכנסות סביר להניח שתקבלי פידבקים שיכולים לזרוק אותך מהכיוון שלך. מצד שני, אם את באה כבר מבושלת, אני בספק אם להם יש את הידע שאת צברת על העסק שלך בשלב הזה כדי לתת לך הצעות מה לעשות. אני תמיד בעד לשמוע עוד דעות אבל גם צריך לשים בפרספקטיבה את כל העצות שמקבלים, ולעיתים יזמים נוטים "להעריץ" (כמו זמרי רוק :) את המשקיעים וכל מה שיוצא להם מהפה.

תודה רבה על הפוסט, עשיר במידע רלוונטי וכתוב בצורה טובה. אני בדיוק מתחיל לחשוב גם כן על דרך חדשה ומנסה לבנות מעין "תוכנית מכוונת" שכזו, רק שהפעם אני דווקא חושב לבנות מודל של חברות שלא צריכות גיוס בכלל וגדלות על הכסף שהן מייצרות. מהנסיון שלי, תהליך גיוס כסף זה בדרך כלל משרה מלאה של אחד מחברי הצוות, דבר שעלול להסיט את הפוקוס והמשאבים מהדברים הקריטים של בניית החברה. כמובן שלגיוס כסף יתרונות ברורים ולכן רוב החברות פונות לאפיק הזה, אבל נראה לי שהפעם אני חושב לנסות את הדרך האחרת, שבה החברה גדלה באופן אורגני. בכל אופן תודה על המאמר והשיתוף האמיץ.

i agree that dynamic scripting can create some annoying behaviors but most of them can be solve with hacks. There are situations when you must have dynamic scripting like long jsonp to support cross domian and cross browser real time communication.

nodejs is under the "experiment" for a long time... i would like to see some real apps using it for production sites. untill then i'll keep on dreaming :)

You don't have access to the iframe code so you can't enforce that.

Hi Dennis,
There is a way to break the frame in Javascript, and it goes something like this:
if (top.location != location) {
top.location.href = document.location.href ;
}

I guess this site is implementing something similar

How do you want to use this in Blogger? do you want to have the iframe toolbar on top and the blog on bottom?
If thats the case then you need to host the code of the toolbar somewhere else and point the iframe to blogger.

I'm not sure i understood your question. you want to be able to post data to a third party web site and display the result on the iframe window?
If you can avoid the POST method and use GET, it would be much easier - this is what i did in my demo. If you must POST data to the server you can set the target to the ifrmae so the result data will be displayed there.

As long as i you can set an element position to absolute it can work. i haven't tried that with a table so i'll be happy to know more about your experience with it.

בדרך כלל אני הולך לאירוע הזה אבל השנה היה משהו שבאמת הרגשתי לא שייך לאירוע והעדפתי להשאר בבית ולעבוד.
אני די מסכים את התחושה שהעברת פה למרות שיש מקום גם לאירועים שכאלו אבל אני אישית מעדיף אירועי גראג' למינהם

I understand. This can be done by adding a parameter of the container div and then calc the div dimensions along with the scrollTop to restrict the movement of the floating div.
Actually that sounds cool to do , but i'm pretty overload with work so I don't think i'll be able to implement in the next few weeks.

Why do you want to position the floating div within another div? the whole purpose of the floating object is to be kept visible on the screen all the time, so it only makes sense to put it absolute position. At least that what i thought when i wrote the plugin. Maybe you can explain what you need to do, and i can better understand what you need to change to make it work.

As for the inline styling - sure you can put it in an external CSS file and change the top, left and id as you require.

You can write many things in more then one way - this is i think what is good and bad in Javascript (depends on the developer skills)

I showed my example where everything is encapsulated inside the constructor to give it a more C++ feeling, so C++ developers can relate :)
