You forgot to mention that the Dunn Bros. is tied into an independent book store. People in Zimmerman read?

They were most likely part of the longbow competition this weekend. Loads of poachers, erm, bowhunters up that way. I wish I knew you were up there since I've been there everyday this weekend.

Yeah, should have been THTC. I watched plenty of good shows when I lived with The Creeper. Very few shows have followed me to my new place. I'm lucky in that it takes a large effort for me to sit down and watch TV.

When I look at 150 hours spent watching Lost I start to wonder where I'm losing my time. I'm not judging what anyone does with their time but it's eye-opening. Even if I'm recording a show and skipping the commercials how much of my day am I losing? TV, video games, mindless websites... it makes me think of your entry a few years back titles "120 Minutes." Twenty-four hours in a day... work takes eight... commute another 1.5... sleep 4-6... that doesn't leave a lot of time to do the important things in life.

Thanks for posting this. It's time to take a closer look at what I'm up to.

2 Read Becoming a Writer, by Dorothea Brande. Then do what it says, including the tasks you think are impossible. You will particularly hate the advice to write first thing in the morning, but if you can manage it, it might well be the best thing you ever do for yourself. This book is about becoming a writer from the inside out. Many later advice manuals derive from it. You don't really need any others, though if you want to boost your confidence, "how to" books seldom do any harm. You can kick-start a whole book with some little writing exercise.

Well, the bit about first thing in the morning. I've always found that to be important for whatever it is you're doing.

9 If you get stuck, get away from your desk. Take a walk, take a bath, go to sleep, make a pie, draw, listen to music, meditate, exercise; whatever you do, don't just stick there scowling at the problem. But don't make telephone calls or go to a party; if you do, other people's words will pour in where your lost words should be. Open a gap for them, create a space. Be patient.

Again this works for any project.

Have it checked out as janie says. If your current cat isn't eating "wild" diet already, it should. Cats shouldn't eat grains (and neither should people).
