Thanks for sharing this. I immediately made my way to my Feedburner account and went PRO. These free options are good integrity points for the Big G. Their Analytics (the application formerly known as Urchin) is awesome. This Feedburner PRO availability is definitely a blessing.

Erik, I am an early GrandCentral user (since their pre-Google beta days). I really love the service. The coolest feature: you can listen to the caller as they are leaving a voice message. If you feel you want to jump in and talk you can do so. Or just hang up or allow them to finish leaving the message.

Another handy feature: the system will ask the caller to recite his/her name. So when you pick up the call, you will hear "You have a call from John Malone". You can take the call if you recognize the name or just hang up. Telemarketers usually don't leave a name so you will hear "You have a call from ____________" Click. Or you might hear white noise from the background sounds. Click.

I highly recommend it. There are other great features like digital voice messages.

Points 1 & 3 are reflections of my conversion.

I would to point #1 - absence of strong family ties (this pertains to my blood family, my Muslim family is 1.5 billion and growing!).

Another point is realizing that some Muslims are not very good spokespeople, role models, voices for a new Muslim to look up to.

Other than that... "Islam is easy...it's the Muslims who make it difficult" - Imam Zaid Shakir.

Sidi Amir, yes, you are correct, DeenLoad cards will make their first appearance at ISNA 2008:

"Both cards will be available at the Zaytuna booth at the ISNA 45th Annual Convention in Columbus, Ohio from August 29 - September 1."

The DeenLoad cards are usually available only at special events. However, if you know the Zaytuna Distance Learning Manager, you can ask him, he might be able to hook you up ;) (Pssst... send him an email!)

I know what you mean. Any organization needs to recognize the passion and potential of the youth. There is definitely more benefit of attracting the youth and keeping them close instead of alienating and/or disenfranchising them. And Allah s.w.t. knows best.
