That said, there are great sites like https://try.github.io/ which help smooth out that learning curve.

Re: git-flow cheatsheet

I would love to see this updated to reflect git flow AVH with it's release/ branch.

Re: Angry Astronomer: Stupid Anti-Woman Quote of the Week

... I'm over 30 and was able to use their exercise dashboard to relearn most of the math I'd forgotten in school. Setting up math as a tree and making a game out of it (complete with achievements) makes it addictive as hell for those with OCD.

Re: http://insomniaccoder.com/post/576300313

you get what you pay for; sprint is a big ball of suck, damn near as bad as AT&T.

btw my pay cycle ends on the 10th, today is the 9th, and I have used 49 out of 900 minutes on my phone.

But my connection did no drop during those 49 minutes and Ive' been able to get signal whenever I needed it.

Re: http://insomniaccoder.com/post/223353311

I hear James brown when I see that picture.

Re: The Insomniac Coder, Slashdot Idle Story | Avatars To Have Business Dress Codes By 2013

I have a coworker who uses his yahoo acct in emergency situations- it's Assburger17 or something.

I think it was meant to be a play on his last name (Burger) and that it (might) have aspergers...

then again, our fearless leader thought it was funny as hell when he popped into an emergency chat with that name.

Re: The Insomniac Coder, Cash for Clunkers: Another Assault on the Working Man?

and who makes those cars?

all the american cars are made in mexico; toyota is paying factory
workers in kentucky.

btw, llamaherder's ex company in michigan was selling parts for both
us and foreign, so they're making some cash off this.

your logic is full of fail.

Re: The Insomniac Coder, Cash for Clunkers: Another Assault on the Working Man?

So what you're saying is rather than give capitalism a shot in the arm, We should give handouts to people who are doing a crappy job, then penalize those who do too well.

It's like we take [business] from the well-off and give it to the needy... god, this seems familiar... where have I heard of this before?
