i definitely learned about capoeira from an article in seventeen magazine back in 8th or 9th grade. who knew those vapid teenage magazines would ever come in useful?

It lets you store recipes in a consistent format (I am anal-retentive, so this matters to me), tag them by category (e.g. soups, appetizers) and/or cuisine (e.g. Indian, Italian), search by ingredient or category, and add ratings, among other things. I've had a patchwork system of online bookmarks and Word documents in which it was impossible to find anything ever, so this program is basically a lifesaver.

i'm late commenting on this, but yeah, there definitely aren't enough interesting classes in the summer. it looks like i'll have a 11, a 12, and a 2a... i'm excited for two of them, not sure how i feel about the third, and the class i was hoping to take for my sla credit (psych 11) is at the same time as a class i need for my major.

ah, well. it's sophomore summer, i can't complain.

brian's been in israel since mid-march, and we have about six weeks left.
i hate long-distance. i don't know how some couples do it for years.

bring an ENORMOUS TOTEBAG (or backpack) stuffed with books as your carryon? that's what i always do. it's a pain in the ass to lug around, but no one's ever tried to weigh it...
