Fall is just around the corner! I remember 3 years ago when I was prego with Esther you wrote (in a comment) about having breast cancer, I hope its not back, and its just maintenance meds you are on!! The heat is brutal. Thank goodness for air conditioning!! We stay indoors if its over 86f unless we are at the pool. So, yeah I love summer but I also love air conditioning....and I honestly like fall more.

as for homeschooling, yes, its easier in some ways but harder in others because the content grows with the kid even if the kid also has more responsibility :)

so many thoughts! yes, I do try not to dump my problems on my friends with jabbering for sure (but yes I totally used to do this due to bad boundary understanding and trauma) but you do bring up many good points and things to try. Reuben is about to join flag football so maybe I will meet many moms there and have a time to chat and hang out. seasons change things so much. I wonder what the next forty years will bring if I am lucky enough to experience them :) I'm going to try to find a co op or group that meets locally that isn't a long drive that maybe meets weekly. I think that would be fun and maybe what I need to see more people and get the kids out of the house more..... I think you are right that I should think about what I can do to change life towards the way I want it to be and less about what other people aren't doing. And you are right that I am an extremely intense person who has to remind herself to keep her mouth shut :P

the flu is so terrible! I want it to die in a fire lol. it's definitely going around so glad you are feeling better. I haven't gotten to wear my dress yet but I have hung it on the wall and keep looking at it hehe. they go up to 3X so I bet they have a size to fit anyone, maybe? I bought a XL.

That "stay at home wife" post I wrote back in (2014??) still gets at least a 100 views a month! It's one of my most popular posts that google gives people for some reason!! Oh, so many years ago. I don't remember that person.......it's probably the sleep deprivation. Congratulations on the third, I hope your pregnancy and birth goes well!!! It's a whole adventure, isn't it! I, for one, am not prepared for many more surprises in terms of people in our family but God does know what I need, and I am learning to trust him. Thanks so much for the comment!

I am trying to figure out my schedule. This week we did something every day! Going to try to keep it to mostly home 3 days a week and I think that will help. And I asked Brian to do the recital on Friday and he took off a half day of work which is awesome and helped me feel more supported :)

yes, I have thought of switching to goat milk formula many times! Going to try to stick it out until 2 months and see where we are.....but probably switching to bottles soon. Right now we are 'finger feeding' and I could use a good bottle! hugs. feeding issues are NOT FUN! I declare.

I try to exercise every weekday before pregnancy but it has definitely decreased the longer I have been pregnant :) I do yoga mostly now, 2-3 times a week and try to go on a walk once a week. I loved doing cardio before pregnancy but got out of practice when the nausea took over!

I do think staying home before kids made the switch harder because I went from a lot of free space to myself with chores and cooking to taking care of a child and still trying to do chores and cooking! A different kind of transition from working 40 hours verses taking care of a child at home. I have often thought of that too and wondered about it, but as I didn't know any better about what kind of craziness I was getting myself into with childbirth and postpartum I had to learn the hard way same as everyone else :) I definitely wish I could go back and change things but I know I would definitely choose to still have the babies :) just my heart attitude and expectations probably needed some adjustment!

and yes, internet privacy is important <3

every time we try to talk about it he says he worries too much about the baby. its an ever revolving discussion! I feel like we keep going in circles. I know its because his foundation of birth is coming from a different place then mine! I have TONS of friends who have had home births and one friends husband who works with mine did try to talk to to him. I don't know if it helped. His wife had three home births. People are just set in stone in certain ways and this happens to be one of them.

Yes!! I have asked for help from three elderly women in my church and all three said they are too busy. One said she could email me but then she had to leave to help her son and we haven’t talked much. I wish I had an elderly woman like that but it hasn’t happened yet! God has brought two or three wonderful books into my life that has really helped encourage me.
