Will never use it.

I prefer to avoid any technology that's sole purpose is to put people out of work. This has no benefit for consumers, they're not reducing the prices to cover me doing their employees' work for them.

I have no interest in doing their job for them. I don't use self checkout either. I object to anything that puts people out of work just to save corporations money. As it is, there are fewer and fewer jobs that can be performed by people who need entry-level jobs or income to supplement other income/pensions.

I'm also disabled and it's difficult to perform many manual tasks. I probably could "manage" it, but why should I? They need to hire staff to provide service to customers. If I finish my shopping and there aren't normal cashiers open, I'll ask for a Manager and get them to put a human being on a cash. Otherwise, I'll leave my shopping in the basket, leave and shop somewhere else.

I currently have the 10GB/$60 plan. I'd have to do a lot more travelling to the US to even think of switching.

45 minutes dialing, then an hour and a half on hold. Finally talked to an agent and five minutes later all three lines on my share everything account were switched.

The Rogers agent said it was quick because it's all he's been doing all day.

I have an iPhone 6. I've been experiencing strange shutdowns while around 50% power down to 15%. Plug it in, it starts off showing the dead battery, then starts up showing 1 or 2% and suddenly jumps to over 60%. Sometimes it'll restart without plugging in, shows 1% available and runs for hours. I can't say for sure, but it started after the last iOS update.

But iPhone 6 aren't being repaired?

Called back after a while when they didn't call back after I was disconnected. New guy checked and said yes, I was eligible. Then he tried to set it up and his system was having "problems", he said that was likely the problem the female agent had as well. He suggested calling back "later". That was last night.

Tonight I called again, different agent again. This guy first told me I wasn't eligible because of my postal code. I told him the guy last night had checked my PC and said I was eligible. Then he told me he'd have to bypass the system to give me the package. Next he told me he'd have to scrub the entire account and rebuild it. After much back and forth, he said my old home phone plan wasn't available and I'd lose US calling. Then after all was said and done, he had me set up with everything and a savings from what I'd previously had of $41.77/month, Gigabit internet instead of 100u and premiere TV. As far as I can tell, the only thing I lost was US calling, and I rarely call the US anyway.

Was told that this offer only applies to existing customers that are adding one of TV, Internet or phone. I have all three, she said I don't qualify. She put me on hold to try and find something she could do to lower what I have... Line dropped while I was on hold.

Added my Aeroplan Platinum Amex card no problem. No upgrade to iOS 9.2, just opened wallet and added card. It took several minutes to finalize adding the card, then came up with "you can now use Apple Pay" message. No email or phone verification.

Didn't need to switch regions to USA either.

Now I just have to go somewhere that accepts Amex and has wave to pay to see if it works. ;)

I have the same problem even after Microsoft said my copy was ready and I upgraded that way. The ethernet adapter shows up as a generic Microsoft adapter and says it's working, it just won't connect. My actual adapter is an Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (2) I218-V but doesn't appear to be detected in Win10.

4GB total. We haven't used more than 2GB in a couple of years. Giving up my two 6GB packages is something I wouldn't have dreamed of a year ago, but WiFi is so ubiquitous now it's not a big deal.

Yes, I'll be cancelling. Currently have two phones in the final year of three-year contracts, mine and my son's. Paying $90/month for those and my wife has a $90/month plan as well. Switching to Rogers' share-everything plans and adding my wife's line will bring the total cost down to $160 for three lines w/4GB of data, unlimited Canada-wide calling and texts. Plus gives us access to Roam Like Home, which will save me when travelling to the US more than my current Roam Mobility saves and I'll have access to more features.

Less data [currently sharing 12GB, but rarely use more than 1 or 2GB], but $100 off the cost of three lines and better features.

"Techsmart" doesn't appear to be particularly smart.

Research is your friend. Travelling to another country without finding out what options are provided by your carrier before you leave strikes me as pretty much "Techdumb".

Totally useless for me. I can't afford to use their ridiculously expensive "Share Everything" plans. With two iPhone 6's, I have the old $60 6GB plans on both. Sharing "everything" costs that much before you add data!

My Roam Mobility hotspot will continue to be my best value when in the US.

I absolutely agree! Frozen will be an improvement. Will I like it? Don't know, haven't seen it. When I do, I'll likely be as impressed as I have been with every change and/or addition Disney has done since I started going.

A Bill based entirely on lies. My records were transferred from DND to VAC seamlessly with a simple signed release. I got a complete copy for myself through appropriate channels without any problem.

Fancy that! A Conservative MP basing a "Private Member's Bill" on false premises to potentially undermine the legitimate privacy of Veterans, a group currently making the Harper Government "uncomfortable". More vindictive politics from a Government that has got to go!

I've had their hotspot for a couple of years. It has served me very well. The only "issue", if it really is one, is if the hotspot is in your pocket as you're wandering, loss of signal isn't readily noticeable. I occasionally found myself frustrated, not connecting while my iPhone showed a nice, strong wifi signal... Once I realized what was going on, checking the hotspot was the first "troubleshooting" I would do.
