I like Quay Cur. Like, a lot. I know I had this album at one point, I am familiar with it, but the only track I can find on my compy seems to be Quay Cur. I also have EP on CD somewhere around here, but I'm sure I haven't listened to that in quite some time. It had an alternate version of Tropical-Island that I didn't like as much as the original.

Neo-prog is fitting. I honestly can't think of anybody else that would fit into such a category, though.

You are correct in your assumption, good sir. Prog rock just isn't the same when it's broken down like this. Then again, prog rock ain't for everybody, although *I* can't imagine why...

I figured out what it sounds like to me. Brad, ever heard of Ben Krieger? Probably not your style, but he wrote some great stuff, like Stingra (about a bionic jellyfish that joined the CIA) and a couple of songs for Song Fight that kicked ass (as far as beating other songs in a song writing competition goes).

Awesome song, awesome rant. I watched that episode too, and I'm pretty much sold. Trees grown specifically for paper? Shit yeah, now I can continue wasting paper! Not... not that I do that much (oh man, why am I backtracking?) but yeah, I print out a lot of stuff I just don't want to read on a screen. Some of them even turn into booklets if I get creative. I should start a zine holy waste of paper!
