The difficulty with the Cycfi Research pickup versus the original Skunkworks (EMG) produced for Gibson low impedance pickups is that with the latter, they could easily be wired up to your existing bass or guitar cavity circuit and just work.

The Cycfi Research site seems to require a circuit board and more advanced knowledge in order to work. If it doesn't require such knowledge to work, then it's a fail on whoever designed the site to not include such info very plainly in the product info.

I was thinking of replacing two pickups with 4 conductor wires each with Cycfi Research pickups, but the website makes it a little impossible to see how one would just wire up a set of their pickups to just work in that circuit without needing an extra control board, etc.

I heartily suggest all progressives spend some time with the workers in China or Venezuela. Learn that socialism leads to despotism more times than not.

Sweden and Norway are not the norm . As their populations get less homogeneous culturally and take on more disadvantaged, their systems too will collapse.

The irony of course being in most socialist countries, a free press and freedom of speech became endangered species when such press and speech was critical of socialism of the countries' socialist ruling class, whether in Cambodia, the Warsaw Pact countries, the Soviet Union, Venezuela, or China. If in my natural state I cannot comprehend the text, then neither can you. This born again stuff is a great scam. I did that thing once and then I wised up and became a logical adult rather than believing in tales told by shepherds to children to explain things they don't understand. The Jesus story made more sense when it was the Osiris story. If you cannot explain just from the text how Matthew 16:28 is wrong when it is just as much the word of God as the rest of the book without appealing to the OT or that acid trip that makes no sense and has no logical plot called the Revelation of St John, then your special born again powers are failing you or God just sucks as a literary ghost writer in communicating a clear and non-contradictory message.

Simply explain to me what part of Matthew 16:28 talks about all these other things? It is interesting gymnastics trying to fit stories from the OT and make them be about the NT when taken out of context. This sleight of hand may have worked when people were illiterate or the words were not translated into the local tongue. But now that they are, it is easy to see all the plot holes, contradictions, and fallacies.

You are a natural man as is every other apologist as I am as well. So to feign more meaning out of very simple stories and sentences when you are the same as me is well sad if not a joke.

The son of man was supposed to return physically before the generation that witnessed him walking around died (Matthew 16:28). Once that didn't occur, all these apologists including Paul started reading the words in very broad and unnatural ways in order to make it work like the tooth fairy or Great Pumpkin were still coming. This is another place where the Bible says conflicting information with the verses you posted and people twist themselves into pretzels trying to force a logic on inherently illogical conflicting information because they want to believe.

Let's face it, in the era of flat lining musician incomes, the fact that the prices of these instruments, amps, and classic consoles continue to ascend to stupid amounts of money can only be attributed to the rise of two banes of a working musician or student's existence:
1. The blues lawyer/rock n' roll dentist who has more money than common sense. Their demand for road worn instruments and gear, that they don't have the time playing to put dings into the instruments, is what created the relic market and destroyed the discounts one used to get for a dinged up or damaged instrument or amp. Then they take that damaged piece of gear or that "10 top" and most of the time, put it under glass rather than using the tool to do the job it was made for,.
2. Insane corporate types that run studios today that go under every 5 years because the gear they buy doesn't bring in the business to survive since most musicians and labels don't have the earnings (thanks streaming & file sharing!) to make booking a commercial studio with that level of gear viable from a budget sense. Not to mention, the latest Nicki Minaj "masterpiece" was probably recorded on an MPC and Digi 001, so using a Flickinger console for such profitable session recording is like using a bazooka to kill cockroaches.
