It will be ideal for Adu to play in the Serie A but so far you don't see American footballers in the Serie A, they usually go to the EPL.

Hello Tracey, I agree on Mourinho having the "art of pampering his players, well, some." For example, he got the opposite effect in Shevchenko, who never was among the pampered players.

True, Mourinho was whistled for the first time by Inter fans when he closed one of the traiinings. Supposedly, as Il Corriere dello Sport reported next day, Mourinho said that he was being spied. But if every coach thinks that he is spied, are the going to close their trainings too.

Sadly for Mourinho, he lost both matches today in the Tim Trophy Tournament. Whatever happened to the "closed door trainings?" Being spied?

Quaresma is an ongoing saga and I hope he does transfer to Inter. Unlike Lampard who now seems closer to stay in Chelsea than going to Inter. Well, we neer know... transfer markets work in different ways.

Monica, the transfer market in Inter is at times confusing. Since the "failed transfer of Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard," Inter has been trying to make a strong transfer without result. Muntari is a good player but not to the level of Lampard. About Quaresma, it is crazy. First Mourinho gives praises to the player and Inter starts negotiations. Then, Moratti said the market is done, but another day they go back to the point of Lampard / Quaresma. Let's see the final result.

I disagree with Arrigo Sacchi saying Quaresma is a common player. Sure, he is no PIRLO, LAMPARD, CAMORANESI, but he is not common. I think Quaresma can be helpful in Inter.

Hello Monica! Wow, you are awake too. I am updating the blog right now. You are right Barcelona is Barcelona. Though, I had the hope of Fiorentina at least getting a draw. About Messi, I agree with Maradona who told Messi "to grow up" and take his decision to go to the Olympics because he is within the age range and even FIFA said he should go.

It's confusing because tonight I watched the news and Messi kept saying he wants to play for Argentina, yet, he is still with Barca. Hello... wake up and smell the coffee.

Pazzini!!! I was happy he scored and doing the "Cheerleading dancing" for him and Osvaldo!

Da Costa, poor guy, he better start looking for another club if not playing much with Fiorentina. Don't you think?

Smokey, so far Zamparini is proving the opposite. He is making Palermo weaker. I was so upset with the transfer of Aimo Diana not to mention Amauri. Striker Cavani who seems the problemaitc is protected by Zamparini as he declared today that "Cavani was not leaving."

What's your opinion on goalkeeper Amelia? Amelia had a terrible season with Livorno and they were even relegated to the Serie B. Amelia might be the second goalkeeper of Italy ---for the moment --- but his record last season is not that optimistic. I hope he does well with you guys in Palermo.

Messi should go to the Olympics. He has the backup of the rules, plus FIFA also said Barca cannot oppose.

Hope he makes it. I am waiting to see Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi with Argentina. He is already in Peking with the team.

Smokey. regarding Miccoli, I hope he stays with Palermo. If not, I rather see him back in Benfica where he had a great season. I don't think Lecce is the right team for Miccoli.

Zamparini.... senza parole. Agree that players should talk on the field where it really counts.

Amelia has to convinced me. I think Marco Storari had a better season in Cagliari and yet he was not called up for the EURO 2008.

I can't wait for the kick off to see how all 20 teams will do in their first 3 matches.

I agree sometimes Presidents and owners make outrageous decisions! Too bad Sacchi made the negative remark on Quaresma saying he was a common player.

It will be a tough match because Milan is not at their best right now. Yet, I think Milan can win. Gattuso after making the own goal against Sevilla will make sure to redeem himself. I have hope Milan can win this match.

Ancelotti will try goalkeeper Kalac because he alredy tried Abbiati against Sevilla.
