I left Ernst & Young London in October last year to pursue this project. A colleague from EY - Alex Frankl made the move this December...

Give me a call on +91 9930245221 if you'd like to chat.

Thanks,

Gautam

Re: Featured Stock Pick: Buy NIIT for 1 year - “Fundamental Pick”

@manish - Thank you for your message. You're absolutely right - when making a stock pick, both the upside and the downside should be considered. We've passed on your comment to the MoneyVidya.com user, 'Karan' and have asked him to respond to it.

Thanks,

The MoneyVidya.com team

Re: Response from ICICI Bank to my post ‘Fresh Rumours: ICICI Bank Collapse imminent? Not likely.’

@manoj - while i have no way of check facts i visited the consumer forum consumercomplaints.in and did a quick search of SBI and found 9981 results. For ICICI I found 6023 results and for HSBC I found 1195 results.

Based on this evidence and gut feel - I cannot really believe that ICICI bank is *any worse* than SBI etc. in terms of complaints in general. I can see however, how state banks might be a little bit more lenient in debt collection etc.

All the same, this post seeked to explore the financial stability to ICICI and expected future performance rather than weight its pros and cons versus other banks.

Re: MoneyControl.com – Out Of Control, Fear Marketing or just a big Boo Boo?

@foo. *obviously* its just an ad. Its just seems like a very silly ad to display in the circumstances. Of course completely understandable that MC cannot anticipate AdSense, but it is quite ironic nonetheless.
