All spot on minus #7, badges. As anyone who've tried to pitch Foursquare in the last two weeks knows, they've effectively put a hold on all major partnerships, and badges, while they sort out the work-flow process and how badges will be developed in the future. As it is, they only release 1 or 2 new badges a month...so I think this point is just getting people's hopes up when in reality it isn't something most publications can take advantage of (at this point).

delete the old app, search for facebook and reinstall....it works. u can tell by the new icon with the light blue bottom shadow/bar.

Actually, I used Tweetie, a Twitter application on my iPhone. Not SMS.

The record is "Most Tweets Sent To MCHammer Using Cell Phone."

There are a number of other programs out there on a number of devices to use Twitter with a mobile phone that aren't text.

The reason to differentiate is, it's very easy to type tweets on a laptop keyboard versus two thumbs on a mobile device.

It's like racing down the street in a car or a skateboard.

Ok, I get you're point, and it's dead on. The whole genre of imitating
comic books in movies was in part awesome, yet in part shitty, so i agree
that we should let it die alone. Sin City should remain its own genre. I
don't really think the Watchmen will go down that path. The book is way too
illustrative for that, its just too f'n classic. It's the kind of classic
you can't fuck with. If they do, for some booze-infested godforsaken
reason, DO fuck with it, then DC comics will become the new Weinstein, the
new Searchlight, the new whatever. It will give a clear 1st place trophy in
a race with no official participants, and no referees. The comics to film
industry is like the wild animated west, and technology is years away.

from a comic book...and that movie was totally awesome. i've yet to seen
