That said I can never figure out why the government should regulate when an adult can use a legally sold product. As long as there are no kids harmed who gives a rats ass! Sometimes I think the insurance company's are behind all of this silliness.

Ha ha ha ha so when in the world does it matter if any of these council people have any conflict of interests. What fantasy world do you hang out in Abdul? You been in Indy long enough and been covering the council for years to know this is a issue that rarely ever even thought about.

Melysaa hit it on the nose! Every contractor and the bond boys involved in the project will make large amounts of money. What do they care if the taxpayers end up with the bill. Lucas Oil, the Pacers, the Library and the Water Company come to mind.

Then give Conseco and Lucas back to the state and dissolve the CIB. Drop it in the states lap and let Daniels and he Legislator run it more efficiently. It puts the city council (especially the Republicans) in a better light. That's what I would do! Opps I forgot no more free Colts and Pacers tickets. Darn good idea though :)

Capitalism isn't dead it's just taken a huge hit in the last couple of years! Greed is good, yeah right that is what has gotten us in this mess. When you start giving people houses without proper job and income varification, along with no money down you are going to have big problems. Then you take all these loans and pass them down the line as triple A paper you have some extraordinary problems. The American economy over heated with funny money. Plenty of people saw this coming but it wasn't their problem. This is now the American way, push the blame on someone else and pocket the cash!
