She was not parked across her own driveway or IN her own driveway - she was parked across the PUBLIC FOOTPATH. Her "driveway" starts at the property line which, in this case, is the garage door. I wish people would get their facts straight before showing their ignorance.

We've been without service since last Thursday when some lame-ass contractor ripped up a 250M chunk of cable. Nobody working on it at the moment that we can see, supposed to be back up 7pm last night, now 7pm tomorrow night. That's 6 days off work for me which I am billing Telstra for. Couldn't oranize a shag in a brothel

I remember, back in the bad old days when I was freelancing, we had one client that would send faxes at all hours of the day and night and expect an immediate answer - phone call followed within 5 minutes if we didn't. And he was a notoriously bad payer, so after having to take him to court for several thousand he owed us, we decided to dump him.

The faxes kept coming, at an alarming rate, despite repeated requests to stop - asking for quotes, and a hell of a lot of "can you just do this one little freebie for me...". This was in the days of those fax machines with rolls of thermal paper, so we hit upon a plan...

See, the way those fax machines worked was their greatest weakness - when the sending fax machine finished a page, it would send an "end-of-page" frame, which would trigger the receiving machine to cut the paper off the roll and prepare for the next one... you can see where this is going...

So take one large piece of white paper, A4 wide and about 10 feet long, and write on it in thick black marker "You are no longer our client, stop faxing us. GO AWAY"... Well, it wasn't that polite but you get the idea... Feed it into the fax machine at about 8pm on a Friday and when it starts sending grab the top of the page and tape it to the bottom, giving one continuous loop... Receiving fax never see's an "end-of-page" frame, so it never cuts the paper !!

Queue client arriving in the office on Monday 9am to 1000M of fax paper on the floor with the appropriate (or inappropriate !!) message on it... He was PISSED...

Stopped the faxes though...:-)

Brilliant thing to do for the kids... Being in costume would have been better, but that's a minor thing. Some of these kids are doing it really tough, and anything that can be done to make their lot a bit easier is OK by me.

I do support for a large Bank in Australia and I get this all the time. Our machines and the little Lenovo M93P's (about the size of a few stacked CD cases) and are always referredto as "that little black box under the counter - do we really need that ?" by staff as they turn the monitor off and on, thinking they've rebooted.

I've had absolutely zero issues disabling Secure Boot on my Lenovo T430S and running Debian. I'm guessing the implementation of the BIOS switch in the Yoga is broken.

I have no issues per se with Secure Boot - if Microsoft want to use it as a tool to enforce their licencing, that's fine. As long as I can turn the damn thing off.

As for atrioom's comments about IE pre-installed on Windows - well, that whole event was a complete and utter joke. You don't like IE, install something else. It was that simple.

Sorry, I call BS on this. I have a family of 4, a dog and 4 cats and our WEEKLY shop rarely breaks $150 - even when we had 3 dogs, it wasn't all that much more. You learn to shop carefully, not because you can't afford more but because why should you pay more.. We all have healthy appetites, even our two new kittens, and none of us are wasting away.

And as you would have seen from my recent Facebook rant, I should have read the reviews here first rather than believing the Optus store staff. The Z5 is, without exception, the most hyped-up and poorly-executed phone I have ever seen. Still buggy software, crap battery life, overheating and shutting down - and that's just for starters. And don't get me started on the complete and utter CRAP support from Optus.

I got all excited when I called them the other day and they said that my area (Bowen Mountain) is "on the radar" for starting early 2017, and the first connections in Q2 2018. FTTN, with an option of paying for FTTP (WANT !!)... But if this POS network is going to drop out that much, I''m not sure now. My crappy ADSL has been rock solid for the last 3 weeks, and that's on 40yo copper wire.

I have to ask, how much did Sony pay you for this review ? I *have* a Z5, and have had for months and it is a piece of crap. Overheating, missing features that even Samsung phones have, battery life is pretty pathetic, camera at full resolution can only take 4:3 format pics, video and still color balance is off, video quality is pretty poor compared to S6's.... I guess the lesson is don't believe what the Optus store tells you about phones. If I had known the thing was this bloody pathetic, I would have gone with my gut and bought an S6 - my wife and daughter did and they are very happy with theirs (OK, no micro SD but everything else is there). Fast Charging, Sony ? WHERE !!!
