Can you comment on what security tech this app uses? Are you implying that the secure content is backed up on the cloud or simply that if your phone is lost your info can't be read?

I wish I had seen Michael Jackson. I wore a black MJ jacket to school for a year in the fifth grade. Who's bad?!

I'm glad I saw U2. I bought tickets for my girlfriend and I to go in high school. We attended rival schools which was cool, until she broke up with me like less than a month before the show to date some loser at her school. I went anyway, the show was incredible. Achtung Baby!!

How about the relationship with the CTO? I don't see a lot of talk about this role, whereas there is a fair bit about the CIO bonding with CFO and increasingly the CMO.

The show was incredible. My wife and I jumped into a car to drive to NYC from NC when we heard we'd won tickets to this "intimate" performance / secret show. We took a chance and this performance was once in a life time. Still processing what happened. Just incredible. We were given the setlist by Pete the stage manager as the band walked off the stage. It shows the songs Scott and the band originally planned and then edits Scott made mid-performance (while sitting at our table!) while Seth performed solo on stage. Consider the second screen. It's not about TV watching anymore. This is short-sighted. Consider the way TV watching is evolving with Netflix, Social TV apps, and Social Media. Many could ask if they should be blogging instead of interacting with people in real-time on the second screen while experiencing entertainment together.

Brian, I've read this for the third time. Great summary man, thanks for posting this. The social TV interaction around the Superbowl, Grammys and Oscars as well as every week shows like The Walking Dead and The Bachelor show that this niche online community is exploding in interesting ways. Heck, there are 2 cool new apps we'd add to our list if we had a new discussion this week. Plus the "second screen" app for the Oscars was actually worth checking out this year. It's not just a watered down tweet and twitpic aggregator.

More on Social TV coverage coming soon. Tim and I are cooking up some new things. We're not done yet!

This is cool. It takes innovators to chart this path, as Trent Reznor did with the music scene. I wonder how SOPA (should it pass) could affect the ability for artists to self-publish? It seems the same battle that the Music industry waged against the internet (and consumers) is now being waged for TV and other forms of entertainment. BTW, I'm with you. I think Louie on FX is one of the best comedies on TV in years.
