The Governor and others in the state truly are working to prepare more students for careers in software development, and they seem to be getting traction. It's a plan that will take years to pay off, but I applaud the Governor and our state for being forward-thinking enough to identify the need and more importantly execute a plan to fill it. Looking forward to the next few years in tech-based businesses in Arkansas.

Re: New Features in the Data Browser | Parse Blog

Outstanding! After Developer A initiates a Pull Request, Developer B will review it, comment on individual lines within GitHub, and Developer A then makes revisions until the team is satisfied. Only at that point will the Pull Request get merged by Developer B. Addam talks about it in a bit more detail above under "Our Workflow".

Note also that all the communication happens online allowing code reviews (and a large portion of our process for that matter) to be handled remotely.

Re: Facebook Promotion Guidelines Update: What You Need To Know

Thanks for the heads up and looking forward to seeing how Rafflecopter adapts.

Re: Road Trip 2013

Didn't realize from your first Tweet about it that it was that serious. This idea of "chunks" is where we absolutely have to go. I look forward to seeing how efforts to create standards such as PRISM and OpenEFT will help the collective tooling around digital publishing mature.

Re: How in the hell do I test a Facebook app from localhost?

Nice solve!

Re: 5 Ways to Visualize Twitter at Events

VisibleTweets is definitely cool. In fact, we were impressed by it so much that we worked with the developer to integrate http://TidyTweet.com to provide moderation and spam filtering for the feed that is displayed in VisibleTweets.

Disclaimer: I am one of the developers for TidyTweet.com.

Re: How To: 5 Top Methods & Applications to Reduce Twitter Spam!

Good article and thanks for including http://tidytweet.com. As far as whether or not Twitter will ever be absolutely spam-free....I don't think so. What is spam to one person may not be spam to another, so I can't see Twitter ever being able to completely eradicate it. I do think they should make more efforts to eliminate the extremely obvious cases, but I think there will always be room for third-party apps that give the user more control of what sort of filters to put into place.

Re: Twitter Better: 20 Ways to Filter Your Tweets

If you're interested in embedding a filtered and moderated Twitter feed on your website or blog, check out http://tidytweet.com. You setup your search phrase and filters, and TidyTweet gives you a widget or RSS feed to display only those tweets that passed the filters and moderation.

Re: Alt.NET Podcast Episode 7: Object-Relational Mapping

Just wanted to second rbazinet.
