At any rate, do any of you who are more experienced than I (which is probably most of you) have any idea what this will do to the RUT? I have the 800/810 July call spread (well, I don't have *the* call spread, plenty of other people have it too) so I'm not terribly concerned, but I would have thought RUT would have come down a bit more after it broke it's obvious trendline a week or so ago.

Re: http://slopeofhope.com/2008/05/weekend_update.htm

I'm going to reply to my own post as I see I've missed a post earlier that discusses this. Put on 200, 100, and 50 SMAs too...RUT has confirmed a bounce off those as well. Just my thoughts, but I think the only bullishness we'll see will be blips. I think the 10-year picture and the most recent H&S pattern is just too convincing.

Re: http://slopeofhope.com/2008/06/it_scares_the_hell_out_of_the_slopes.htm

...and naturally I clicked on your link AFTER I made my post below...even though your chart was INDU, I think you and I are making the same case.

Re: http://slopeofhope.com/2008/06/it_scares_the_hell_out_of_the_slopes.htm

although im not tim, i'll throw my two cents into the mix...the RUT seems to be the most even keel of the major indexes, but generally tends to follow their leads...just takes a bit.
