as i have stated i did not mention mr kozak in my questions about the article. you brought his name into this. so if you think for a second i think you are not one sided on this issue you are wrong. and i would rather put it out so everyone can see what i say so it is not taken out of contexts.

when i first responded to this article of mr luff i was speaking of what i veiwed inacurated statements in the article. since then with being professional i have spoke to the article. mr kosak has took it upon his self to use this this forum to force his view upon the limo industry. this says volumes about the magazine and the article.i have to ask the question if you came into a new market and did not like the rules why would you open a bussines ? as i have never went to law school like some opertors seem to i have no problem with mr kosack taking this to the supreme court. and yes there are as many people or maybe more that do not care what a kosack says.

as you stated i am in gunnys area and i did not mention one thing about gunny. i have never meet the man and do not have a problem with him . as a competitor i think gunny and i are doing different customer completely so i do not have a problem with that at all. the fact i raised is that the business license issue you led people to believe in your article that we have one up here . and as far as being in the business as long as you have that does not impress me at all. and on the competitor turning gunny in when he was arrested he knows who it was and i hope you are not suggesting it was me.on the ptc fees let me make sure you are clear as i know and have asked that the $5000.00 has not been charged to anyone yet . yes you are correct about the language on the website . but i think if you dig further that may be being revised. now for the WFLA the way our association works is to get out the word and to help members and the limo industry in our area. we will not take action on any matter that we do not have a majority of the members behind it. for instance we have members ask for the WFLA to get behind a cap on permits as there is 800 plus limo permits and 600 plus taxi permits. we took a vote and the members where tied 50- 50 so no action was taken for or against. this is the way the WFLA is run and the USA . we are sorry some past members are mad or upset that the WFLA does not jump everytime they feel we should.

i would like to correct a few things in your article.first there is no business license in hernando county . i have lived here for 25 years. and we stop the buiseness license about 4 years ago ( was a mistake ). what that causes is you can have anyone buy a limo or car , van what ever and start doing airport runs and niteouts. no one will be cking to see if your insurance is correct or if your vechile is safe. so it is like the wild west. build a website put new cars on it and show up in a older car no one to police this at all.second please supply your readers with a name of what company has been charged $5000.00 to become legal in hillsboro county.third luxury cars are what the ptc requires to put a permit on the road. if you look at kellyblue book it is very clear what is what. some people like to muddy the waters on issues and most of the time they will find a ear to side with them. thats america and thats great.and fourth i have been a member of wfla and a board member and i am speaking as the owner of a signature limousine not as a board member.we have had meeting every month and when topics are brought up the majoirty rules . we have had members quite both ways and that is there right.i have all the permits and stickers and i do not like paying any more than the next guy. but i knew what the fees where when i got into this business and so did the people crying. this has been the way tampa was set up since i think the early 80s. so it is good you have people that want to challenge the system that what makes it stay strong.as far as the writen word ( newspaper, magazine) i have to rember when i was on a cruise in another country that toilet paper was 10 cent a sheet but newspaper where free.the reason for this is because of articles like this that do not get the facts straight. so thats my take.
