Never had any major problems. The one time I did have to contact support (via email), they responded within a few hours. Coincidentally, just a couple days before Project Fi was announced, RW revealed they're going to launch new plans this summer that credit you for unused data.

Re: Google Project Fi plan price vs AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint

THANKS for reminding us ;-)

Re: What Windows 10's future could look like with more Android

Yes, the figures mentioned are based on U.S. stats. My coverage has been good. When I lived in Ohio, had strong 3G, then 4G finally rolled out. Currently in San Diego, I get 7 down and 2 up. Not perfect, but plenty fast for my needs, and I'm paying just 40 bucks per month without having to fork out hundreds more on a device that I'm basically renting.

Re: Report: Google's 'Nova' Carrier Will Only Offer Service On Nexus 6 At Launch

I'm surprised to hear no one mentioning Republic Wireless, which already has this concept in play, aside from only working on Sprint's network. Yes, dial-up Internet fast, whereas Sprint offered 4G. Still though, even in a major city like San Diego, I'm lucky to get 8Mbps. For me, it's fine, but when other carriers can offer faster speeds for around the same price, you can bet your ass people will go with the faster option.

Re: Republic Wireless Rolling Out Android 4.4.4 To The Moto G And Moto E, 1st Gen Moto X Pushed To February

Judging by this, 2nd gen Moto X users can expect Android 5.0 around November.

Re: Netflix Vows It Will ‘Never’ Offer Offline Viewing

Except if you're on an airplane, which watching video without buffering is next to impossible. If Amazon had launched this phone two years ago, it may have stood out better among the pack. The dynamic perspective reads a lot like having a 3D camera on your phone, which we all know how that turned out. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon has okay sales given the surprising success of their Kindle Fire tablets.

Re: Authy Makes 2-Factor Authentication Nearly Painless With Easy Setup, Automatic Backup, And Multi-Device Sync

And it's easy to integrate with Wordpress so you can make your site more secure.

Re: The Weather Channel's Big 5.0 App Redesign Is Now Very Slowly Rolling Out To Users Via The Play Store [Updated]

The APKs posted here in the comments I'm not so sure I'd trust. My family keeps buying me the dark temptations around holidays (it kinda smells like chocolate), and I actually like the smell of it. Even went as far to invest in a course about picking up women, and by invest I mean torrent it. Already having a collection of fuzzy hats, I was set. Striking up conversations was terrifying at first, but it helped build up my confidence. Things went well on several different occasions, but it always felt disingenuous. It felt icky to act like this jerk, and to basically put on this act. And it all focused towards satisfying your own needs while treating human emotions as something that can be played with, that can be tweaked in your own selfish favor. I wouldn't trade what I learned from a psychological and confidence-building standpoint, but I would trade the pain that came from putting on such an act and being so selfish. You don't have to be an asshole, you don't have to pretend you're cooler than you actually are, and you sure as hell don't have to show off with fancy purchases. Far too many invest in what's on the outside than what's on the inside. Just be real, honest, and genuinely give a shit about other people. It'll go a long way.

Re: Instagram Gets Update to Version 6.0, Brings Actual Photo Editing Capabilities

Yep.
