I'll likely upgrade rails but if I do find a solution for the stack error, I'll post it in case anyone else gets hung up on it. Thanks.

Re: attribute_fu and jQuery shake hands

What's the status of this plugin? I inherited a project that uses it and it seems to work fine for its primary purpose. However, whenever I run a rake task that touches any model or associated model that implements it, I get a "stack level too deep" error in "../attribute_fu/associations.rb:112:in `has_many_without_association_option'" (using latest version of plugin and rails 2.2.2). I dug into it for a bit without success so I'm about to remove the whole plugin from the app but am taking a stab at a resolution here in hopes of saving me some time. The google group site for the plugin is littered with spam so I fear this thing is history. Any info on this or should I write it off?
