Twitter is nothing more than the CompuServe CB Simulator for the 21st century. If he has problems with what's transmitted on Twitter, he would have committed suicide over the trivia committed on CB Simulator -- which people gladly *paid* to do at a per-hour connect-time fee (some people wound up spending over $1,000/month!).. Twitter is hi-IQ in comparison, depending on who you Follow.

Oh man, spend $19 more for the $169 Archos 80 Titanium. It has an IPS screen and an AnTuTu score in the 11,000-range. Coby is too far behind -- especially with that screen -- to be relevant.

This is a capability I'm hoping Key Lime Pie itself will offer. It needs to be Official Android for widespread adoption by devs. Hacks are nice, but I still sting from PalmOS 5.0 taking away Hackmaster and all the lovely hacks I used.

I have questioned that inflated AnTuTu score posted at GizChina. My Comment has not been cleared for posting yet. I've seen sub-10,000 AnTuTu for that. The Actions CPU is not the strongest.

Mickey was originally going to be called Mortimer. Walt did the voice. And an even bigger crisis came later when his staff went out on strike against the studio. He felt utterly betrayed. He was sent on a good will tour of South America by the U.S. gov't while his level-headed business-minded brother settled the strike. And talk about creativity -- whoever expected a cartoon maker to create the world's first theme park? His was also one of the first studios to embrace TV with original programming made just for it.

That depends on the user, doesn't it? What distinguishes Android is the ability to customize it as much as you want and almost any way you want it. What's ugly to one person is fine for someone else's needs. Let there be multi-window too -- and let those who don't want/like it just not use it. But don't limit everybody. That'd be like Samsung or HTC slapping their UI over Android and forcing everyone to use it.

Hmph. What about tablets with 7.85-8.0" screens? All those made in China, like the Archos 80 -- and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. And what about the 9.7" Android tablets (Archos ,Coby, others)?

This is an idea that is long overdue. The screen in an iMac (or any AIO machine), for example, will outlive the usefulness of its computer components by a factor of 4 to 5. Why have to ditch a perfectly good screen just because the guts are outdated? This would be especially great for tablets which can sometimes depend on style. Like putting a more powerful engine in an old Chevy.

I hope you will also do a series about buying tablets from China. As I'm sure you know, there are now a bunch of iPad Mini clones that will probably never be sold in the U.S. because, um, they resemble the iPad Mini (the "trade dress" legal issue Apple sued Samsung over).

It might be good for Google Books PDFs of old 19th & 20th century magazines, which often feature small type requiring pinch-zoom on a 9.7-10.1" display. One day I will get to test one of these for that, I hope.
