Sony's 150-megapixel 53.4 x 40mm sensor is not 5:4. It's still 4:3.

53.4 / 4 = 13.35
40 / 3 = 13.33

5:4 would be 53.4 x 42.7.

Thanks for confirming. That's exactly what I expected and that the authors just took the RAW support list at face value and hadn't checked (I've been shooting the Sigma FP for video and importing CinemaDNG since 2022).

Sigma's default for stills has been DNG's for the FP series and the BF camera.

Has anyone actually confirmed in the program that it doesn't support Leica & Sigma???

They just use DNG and that's been a supported file type for video editing for years—i.e. CinemaDNG is literally just a bunch of DNG's with with an audio track. It'd be really odd if you couldn't already work with them.

The Sigma 28mm f/1.4 Art is a simply incredible lens and I love and enjoy mine regularly, but we are truly way over due for a made-for-mirrorless update.

This person has hundreds, if not thousands, of photos that already shined a spotlight on homelessness. Honoring the request of a single family who lost their daughter/sister does not undermine his work at all. And claiming that it does, just make him a d**k.

You explicitly said lens that goes from 28-105mm doesn't cover 90% of your wide shooting needs. Clearly that means you need a different lens. I'm just taking you at your word.

Then you need a 12-24mm or a 16-35mm then and whether this lens starts at 24mm or 28mm doesn't even matter.

And I use the massive 28mm f/1.4 Art lens. It's a wonderful piece of glass and I love it and will never sell it, but it isn't exactly a walkaround lens either.

I was excited about the possibility of this as a Sigma FP-sized body (the FP L is a disappointment there), but with actually functional PDAF, but these weaker video features are disappointing. I'll stick to my raw video. On the other hand...IBIS and open gate...
