the ninja gig was great, REALLY appreciated the tips you gave about songwriting and how important it is to finish them, and to allow yourself to write bad songs. i have about 5 songs close to completion that have been kicking around in my head and on my piano for years that i've never finished - it hit me last night after the gig that i want them all to be as brilliant as something like The Bed Song. and the fact is i'll probably have to write 20 bad songs before i even get something 1/1000th that great. i'm promising myself i'll finish 1 of them this weekend. thanks for the inspiration.

to summarize, pop stars seem to be the most thankful. happy thanksgiving and have a safe trip!

don't worry, she's barely playing any new songs from the new album, except Fast Horse which is one of the best and sounds incredible with the keyboard set up she's got this time around.

i was afraid she'd be on autopilot for this tour but it sounds like it's the opposite.
