It's great to see a little bit more transparency in how teams design what they do, and, in this case, the fact (maybe even admission?) that you are constantly looking at each other's solutions. We all know that, but hearing it being discussed so openly is very refreshing. Go Sauber!

Re: Decorate your phone this holiday season with festive keyboard themes

I, for one, love all three. Cheery, balanced, and just the right amount of decoration. I feel for those who can't enjoy diversity.

Re: How to Watch the Spectacular Minotaur Night Launch on Nov. 19 with Record Setting 29 Satellite Payload

Hi Tim, thanks for the answer! I wasn't able to find it on that page, but I did find one for LADEE, which served as a good reference for this launch, in another page, after I poked around a little bit. Thanks again!

Re: How to Watch the Spectacular Minotaur Night Launch on Nov. 19 with Record Setting 29 Satellite Payload

I've seen Google Earth predicted paths like these before, during LADEE's launch, they're great! I was wondering, can you guys share that with us, so we could see what the launch would look like from where we live? I'm in Ohio, which is one of the marginal places where one could see tonight's launch, but it would really help if I could see exactly where to look. Thanks!

Re: Fly Through a Canyon on Mars, Thanks to Mars Express

Is it just me or the video is not working? I found the same video posted on an actual ESA site (http://www.esa.int/Our_Acti... and that's also not working, so I'm assuming the problem is with the source.

Re: http://cancerandpilots.tumblr.com/post/379981221

Hi Jimmy D,

Don't listen too much to people, if advices were good they wouldn't be free :). Nothing wrong with looking at the bright side, but nothing wrong with being realistic either.
We're all cheering for you.

Re: Wilco's Tower Simulator Review

Hi Rutger,

Nice to see you again. Just finished moving into the new house (actually am painting the garage floor right at this moment), and am getting back into the groove of things.

As of late I have been working on the Columbus (KCMH) airport model and will have some screenshots of that soon. Still moving forward, slowly but surely ;).

Thanks for stopping by.

Re: Wilco's Tower Simulator Review

Hi Brad,

I watched the video and was pleasantly surprised, although what I am aiming for is slightly different. I want a more realistic environment, better looking planes, overall, a more true-to-life experience.

Thanks for stopping by!

Re: Building a Stapler – Staple Cradle Pt2

Hi Alex,

Another great tutorial, thanks! And I will confirm my last post, on the Cradle Part 1 tutorial, that I love this new style of step-by-step instructions, it gives me insight into how you make some steps happen that I would otherwise not know. Great stuff.

I ran into a problem when trying to convert the cradle into a sheet metal part. Apparently the 0.015" bend radius was too big for my part. Trial and error determined I needed 0.005" maximum to make it work. Your text mentions that you might have to play with this factor for different parts.

Given the fact my dimensions are the same as yours, I am at a loss why this could be?

Re: Building a Stapler – Staple Cradle Pt1

Hey Alex,

I like the new way of describing each step, stick with it!

By the way, when making the last extruded cut, there's an issue with the 0.370" measurement in step 16. The original says:

16. Make the two centerpoints of the slot .307″ and .500″ from the right edge.

It should really say:

16. Make the two centerpoints of the slot .370″ and .500″ from the right edge.

These tutorials are awesome! Thank you!
