You're inviting people who are interested in feudal Japan to join you - You should probably expect some of them to know something about it. You should therefore probably do your best to do right by that audience.

There are mistakes (you messed up on one prop? meh.) and there are cringe-inducing critical errors (long line of wrongs that indicate little care for the subject, yellowface, and appropriation); and the fact that so many critical errors went unnoticed and unchecked show a massive amount of disrespect for the culture, people, and story they aim to portray.

If that isn't ultimate failure by the theatre, I don't know what is.

Re: http://hellopeek.tumblr.com/post/21300210481

just added the sf sailing tag.

Re: http://midoriw.tumblr.com/post/16363434047

Hahaha, they're so out of place but yes, they're endearing in their own Kindergarten-y way.
--
Midori Wada

Re: http://midoriw.tumblr.com/post/16363434047

Thank you! And, I won't be getting any for 2011 this time - UA recently changed their policy to PremExec at 50k, 2 upgrades at 75k, and add'l ones every +15k after I think :(

Re: http://midoriw.tumblr.com/post/4383223624

Aw, boo. :( I'm sorry to hear, but good luck!! But neat that you're flying Star Alliance flights. Do airline alliances matter to pilots much, though...?

Re: http://midoriw.tumblr.com/post/4157054392

Woot woot! Badass :) Airport/plane Tumblr meetups need to start happening!

Though, I thought Mesaba operates more for Delta than US Air/United? There was a CO Express parked next to us at LGA that was operated by Mesaba but I'm pretty sure that was a Saab...

Re: http://whitewhine.com/post/4047708515

And I hope you never have your family go missing in an earthquake and tsunami. We've been dating for a few years now. I'm guessing he linked me to your blog and that's how this internet connection happened :)

Anyway, don't feel creepy, it is only tumblr after all.
