Yeah I re-post it gain ;)

I'm working on cubics now but will take time that I don't have up today. I start on quadratics because is cheap in terms of CPU and let me work fast on rendering as at the time I was doing my paint app with Flash. Also by using qudratics can be expanded to openGL with easy.

In terms of a hand draw path representation is also more easy to match it with quadratics than with cubics. The interpolation of the strike key points of this hand draw can be easily smoothed to a stitched group of quadratic beziers, and on my tests it feel more natural in terms of realtime smoothing of that stroke. With cubic bezier that extrapolation must be do it by postcorrection or starting on the four key of the stroke, so it feel more laggy to the eye.

Another workaround is the use of a external file with the variables
and start the expresions evaluating it with $.evalFile (myPath);

The thing with it is that file is read every time and because that I don't like that way.

I use another workaround instead. The creation of a text layer "GLOBAL" containing all the global variables or objects I wana use globally. Then use eval(thisComp.layer("GLOBAL").text.sourceText) at the start of the expressions need to accesss to that global vars.

I also try with the curvature but is not working the same. The nearest point Pc is a special place (geometrically talking) Here is some of the interesting things:

Because the nearest point also have some properties, as is the point where the bisector of P1 Pt P2 pass (Pt being the nearest point) and this bisector pass throw the Pc (tension point) (The demonstration is on the paper above), because this the other bisector on that point is parallel to the tangent vector at this point and perpendicular to Pc.

I use this for the secretary CMS, is a simple, resize plugin writed in PHP, but can be extrapolated to other CMS or stand alone. The idea is that the plugin need the bounding box of the most important area of the image, and it resize and adapt to crop taking this in consideration. Hay un poco de todo, pero principalmente lo hago todo en iphone excepto alguna que otra que ademas del iphone le meto algo en photoshop. Sobre todo las mas antiguas, las últimas están hechas con el iphone y después las retoco con una app de iphone que se llama Photo FX que puedes encontrar aquí: http://www.tiffen.com/photo...

Tiene aplicado el Holga, pero luego cuando llegué a la oficina, le metí mano en "potocho". Tengo hechas unas cuentas fotos también con el móvil de reflejos, luces y cosas así que puedo aplicar facilmente por encima. Lo único adicional que le he hecho, es desenfocar algunas zonas, para reforzar el efecto.
