I agree that expansion on the web depends primarily on meaningful relationship. Building a strong audience by encouraging participation, developing credibility, establishing authority and respect determine the success of that relationship.
Thank you for your valuable teaching always.

Re: Building reputation and credibility

Simon, It is reassuring to realize You are a perfect example of what you teach us about creating high standards around our brand. This is a valuable lesson we need to stand out from the competitive market. Meeting these qualities consistently promotes the business and attracts authority's attention. Building perfect Reputation and Credibility over the internet is so important. This course is a definite pre-requisite for anyone using the web. But by the fluency of your demonstration I understand that the topic has been thought through its minute details.
The barrier around EL, the doors , the selective process, increase the value of the site thereby increasing the demand for participation!!! This is fantastic. That's one of the many reasons I find Simon's teaching extremely valuable. I am taking notes, it is best that I invest my energy nurturing the relationship with the friends I made so far, focusing on branding myself, and defining my audience. Thanks Simon!
Thanks to you too Henry for the link, I appreciate your remarks.

Re: How Many Chores Does It All Add

I agree social media adds chores, consumes time. If we successfully learn to apply those tools to our advantage to create a web presence that delivers value to our community, then our commitment and dedication become rewarding.

Re: Selling yourself short?
