It's not about being sensitive. Or about equal representation. See images of young people on Instagram that go beyond face 'tweaks'. It's as much about general physique as it is about face filters. And young men are equally vulnerable.

I always tell people to invest time in side projects as well. They are often time-consuming (if you want to do a good job), but they allow you to use your creativity your way. They also expand your portfolio. And often can lead to paid work. Last year I got commissioned a couple of times purely based on some of my earlier side projects. There's nothing better than a new client telling you: "I saw your film on X. I want you to create something similar for me".

Photoshop for iOS has replaced Snapseed for me. It probably has fewer functions, but that might be a good thing. Never heard of Pinnacle Studio, but will give it a try.
