Actually, my computer automatically rebooted because on upgrade to Ventura 13.0. Problem fixed. Thanks for the suggestion.

After upgrading to Mac OS 12.6.1, my MLM stopped working. Accessing the Statistics button causes the application to crash.

Diagnose indicates that everything should be working:

#1 mysqli_connect( db XXXXXXXX.com, joecarus_XX, XXXXXXXXXXXXXX joecarus_maxprog )
-> Connection OK!

#2 mysql_select_db( joecarus_maxprog )
-> Database selection OK!

#3 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#4 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#5 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#6 5 list(s), 4364 recipient(s), 123 deliveries
-> No error found.

I have installed MLM on one of our websites. Does it make sense to install it on other websites, if we are using that website to send emails? Thanks.

Stan, when I put in the https:// part, disqus stripped it out -- twice.

I do have the https:// in the url.

I did some reading on some other threads and executed a chmod on the lm directory from 777 to 755. That worked.

Yes, I first bought the MaxBulk Mailer SE, but realized too late that the Stats window didn't work.

So, I downloaded and paid for MaxBulk Mailer 8.75. The Statistics button opens an empty screen.

Nothing happens & when I close it, the program crashes.

Jordan and Mikhaila, the discussion about getting a 2 year old to do something was interesting. It highlights a recurring them in Tom Schelling's work -- children, madmen and others cannot be consistently threatened or deterred.

Not because they lack the capacity to reason, but rather because they lack the capacity or access to commitment devices to bind their future selves to decisions made today.

This was interesting and fun. (Although, I doubt the science behind the idea of "waking up the ancestors" since of the DNA we have, only 10% is human.)

I have been trying out wimof breathing technique. but I cannot get past 46 seconds. And that was probably cheating. Love to know how other people are making out.

Good article, reach is a changing game in Linkedin, much like search is a changing game in Google. What worked 6 months ago, is not likely to work next month.

The old days of SWAM seem cute in comparison to what those using the pod extensions are doing.

But, to be the devil's advocate, how exactly is a group using some browser extension to coordinate their activity is different, in principle, from what LinkedIn advertises as employee advocacy program, Elevate? I believe it is different, but would like to know what other people think.

Voss says that he got Jack Welch to speak at his negotiation class by asking him, while waiting in a book autographing ine-up.

"Would it be preposterous for me to ask you to speak to our negotiation class at UCLA?"

It is a nice use of getting the automatic "no" to actually mean "yes".

Chris Voss credits Jim Camp for this idea - the power of no. Sadly, Jim died -- I think about 5 months ago.

Jim's book is called "Start with No" -- useful for sales negotiations. Mainly because you are going to hear that word a lot!

I don't think that this is correct. A true zero sum attitude is very hard to maintain as it involves constantly not caring or monitoring the reactions of the social world.

So, if I understand it,

1. The emai campaign delivered a lot relevant visitors.

2. But at the time they first visited the website, they didn't register.

3. However, later on, many of these first time visitors returned to the website & registered.

Have I got that right?

I agree with most of the comments.

As a frequent sampler of MOOC's, I always find something that interests me & that I can learn.

I have yet to complete any course, even ones that spot on in my area, because early on I get so excited about how a particular idea might work that I wander off track.
