Little doubt USC is fielding one of the best defensive lines in college football right now. An NCAA best 7.8 points per game.
Many suggest its the best defensive team ever from Trojan Town. Hmmmm. I'm sure Holt would love to erase the 21 pts they yielded in Corvallis. At least James and Jacquizz Rodgers performance sent them back to the drawing board.

The ratings remind me of political polls. How can Sagarin justify ranking Ohio State #6 and USC #10 when they got hammered 35-3 by the Trojans. Colley has Oklahoma State 3rd. A team that beat WSU 39-13. a 26 pt MOV versus SC's 69 pts.? Not to mention SC fielded mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers in the second half. Not that computers pay much attention to style and stats, or tradition for that matter.

My Big 12 pals remind me November is always the tell-tale month. History seems to be on the side of Texas Tech when it comes to Oklahoma on Nov.22nd. Texas plays the Red Raiders the week after defending their 10 game win streak vs Oklahoma State, another element to consider. No free passes here, it'll be fun to watch how the composite ratings and BCS react to the dwindling number of undefeated teams.

Make no mistake, MSM are the real brainwashers here. They should stick to acceptable standards of news reporting and spend less time pushing their Liberal political agenda's on a populace that emigrated from socialism over 200 years ago. The founding fathers must be rolling over in their graves these days.

Then during numerous hearings, as Chairman of the House Finances Committee, he has assured us everything was OK on his watch. Eventually mainstream media will be forced to share the truth and enlighten Obamabots and Liberal lemmings on what really caused this mess. You mean the same Republican controlled congress that Dems take credit for during the Clinton years? No.

Special interests and pork need to be eliminated as vote leverage in both the House and Senate. Having Palin preside over the Senate would be a good start.

A Pelosi/Biden/Obama combination on Capitol Hill will be disastrous.

Hopefully McCain will point the finger where it really belongs -- Barney Frank engineered this financial train wreck and should be impeached. Twelve members of his committee voted no on the bailout. Pelosi's lemmings also voted no. Why did this Speaker even call for a vote? It is obvious this goes beyond political grandstanding to undermine the entire democratic system.

While the Obama lemmings continue to turn a blind eye to the real facts, don't forget the Community Investment Act and the greed it fostered on Wall Street can all be traced to the same party that ignored and killed in committee every attempt to reform and regulate FMAE and FMAC, Obama's ACORN infused Liberal Democrats.

..... time will tell all. There were only two reform candidates that really made sense. Jindal and Palin. Gustav reportedly removed Jindal from the pick list. More proof that Louisiana's problems need a Republican governor at the helm. Palin has an 80% approval rating as Aaska's governor. We have a true reform candidate on the ticket, not just a oralist telling America what he thinks they want to hear. We need someone in the White House that keeps Pilosi in check before the whole country gets too liberal. Palin is the silver bullet! Divine intervention at its best.

David, we've seen more flip with Biden over the years than a college game coin. The bridge probably looked like an attractive project until the bottom line topped $400 mil. Not as easy to disguise misappropriation in a state budget like Alaska's. Even harder to rid her state of the embedded special interests but she has surprised many. Much the same way a grocers daughter came to power a few decades ago in the UK. Were we watching Iron Lady II or Sarah "Conner" Palin last night. America needed a whamogram in this race and she delivered it. Did any of Oprahs little Ohbamabots sleep well last night?
