Well, one of the reasons my best friend is my best friend is because she has been with me since I was 5 (I'm almost 20) &amp; our families always did things together. Although, we don't see each other much now because of college (&amp; calls don't really work for me) we make sure we see each other during holidays, birthdays &amp; of course summer vacations! (we also mail each other letters &amp; what-nots). But, at the same time, I don't tell her every single thing in my life but I do open up to her &amp; yes, sometimes I'm not sure how she'll react like but I still want her to know. &amp; yes there are also things I hide from her because well I don't want anyone to know but that doesn't take away that she's my best friend.</p><p>I see a best friend as someone who will always be in your life. Someone you can see in your future. Say, like in 15-20 years &amp; even if we don't talk for months &amp; we finally meet up everything will still be the same; no awkward moments.
