I almost never binge, and I watched the whole thing in one sitting. I like comics but I wasn't familiar with the character, but you don't really need to know anything to be up to speed. The leads (Ritter and a gloriously evil Tennant) really sold it.

My husband and I walked in together, holding hands. Being almost thirty, it felt really weird to have my dad walk me down the aisle, even though I know it would have meant a lot to him. I wasn't trying to be selfish, but I also didn't want to compromise on something that has really icky connotations to me. Other women have different feelings and may choose to be escorted, and that's fine too. Do what you think is right for you. People will understand (I hope!).

You really hit the nail on the head about the differences in language meant to insult. Like, it's similar to the difference in tone between "Hey, bro, I slept with your mom last night!" and "Bro, I'm going to rape your mom." Ugh, people are awful. I'm also sick to death of people intentionally misgendering some women just to be jerks and prove some kind of point about something they can't actually articulate.

Anyway, A+.
