There are 3 rings in this story, and I believe the picture is of her wedding band - the one she lost in the backyard three years ago.

Way to make it about race. Did it ever occur to you that we wingnuts just don't like the law? If we didn't go to such extremes to prohibit something and make it magically available on some arbitrary age it would reduce the appeal of teenage binge drinking. (I say arbitrary b/c not all 21 yr olds have the same maturity level). There should be a gradual introduction under parental supervision. I don't care whether we are talking about Pedro or Peter.

Dante - you are very misguided if you think special interest groups only exist on one side of the isle.

One could argue that the Great Depression was extended by the huge entitlement programs levied on us by FDR.

Dude you live in a fantasy world - that would NEVER happen - so get real and offer PRACTICAL solutions.

Problem Solving is done by disecting the overall issue and tackling the easy solutions first. Chip away at it little by little. Rome wasn't built in a day!

Clearly these women need some help, but is what they did really big news? They committed a misdemeanor offense. Having a drug problem does not necessarily mean you're a thief. Believe it or not Cocaine and Banking is kind of like Champagne and Caviar. Go to a rehab and check out the pecking order of addicts. Cocaine users are usually the most affluent. I'm not condoning this, but I'm just telling it like it is.

Those of you crying for the bank to fire this woman should think twice. If she is an addict and you cut off her resources and access to care she'll be worse off for it. Additionally cocaine is not a mind altering substance. One can work just fine while taking it. Ask the 10,000's of kids to take it every morning for breakfast in the synthetic form of Ritalin and Concerta.

It seems to me the real story here is about the Chiropractor and the Personal Trainer. Distributing drugs is a far bigger crime than using them.

sickalltheblame: really?? are you serious? Even if KPD did have a warrant on her - it's not like they tried to pull the bike over b/c of her. Doubtful the cop even knew the name of the passenger or the driver at the rate of speed they were traveling when he first hit the blues.

That police report also says that when Rob took off the cop did not pursue. He radioed to Rockingham county and put an alert out. He got to the top of Hunt Road and wasn't even sure which way the bike went until he looked south and saw him off in the distance on the hill near the Old Bump and Grind.

Not to mention if KPD wants to find you they will. They know everything about everyone in town. So if they really wanted to send her to jail (also very unlikely) they could have found her at the Shell station or Hannafords - whichever one she worked at.

So please - enough already - he was the driver - end of story.

To both families - I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

the suicide claim does sound a little fishy at this stage of the investigation, but IF she was drunk - she got her self drunk. You can't get drunk watching someone else drink for you.

Suicide or not - I think it's a waste of time to prosecute the kids that got the alcohol. The nanny state society that we live in legislates and governs our every move these days thanks to greedy overzealous laywers and lawmakers. Individuals should be responsible for their own actions. It's a tradegy, but this girl is the only one responsible for her untimely death.

Responsible alcohol consumption should be learned at home. The fact that it is forbidden until 21 yet legal in other parts of the world only adds to the lure of teenage drinking.

"she told me to do it" isn't a valid excuse whether it's true or not. Had he lived and gone to court a judge would have laughed at that excuse and thrown the book at thim.

Her character is irrelevant, b/c she is not the one who was driving the bike. You probably also want to blame the police for trying to pull him over!

Not only are you dumb, but you are a hippocrite. You are whining about people "bashin on rob", but yet you have no problem doing the same thing to someone else. What gives?

I'm of two mindsets on this one. I'm from southern NH, but now reside in middlesex county, and I ride the haverhill line everyday to and from work. Since I live close to Boston, the train is very crowded by the time it reaches my stop. Adding more stops will increase riders, but I'm not convinced it will be by that much. It's still a very long ride from Haverhill to Boston on train w/ a restrictive schedule. Not to mention those riders will pay a Zone 8 or 9 fare.

BTW - I have also lived in NYC - and they have a fantastic multi-state public transit system. Metro North serves both CT and NY.

Sorry - I didn't intend for that to sound insensitive. I am truly praying for your sister. If he was driving an unregistered/uninsured bike - it's just another thing for your family to worry about, and another example of the driver's immature, selfish & wreckless mindset.

Truckin - someone on wmur.com posted that the Kingston cop did back off. Assuming they left the Shell station and went south it's only 3 miles to the town line. At the rate he was traveling that would have taken somewhere around 2 minutes to reach the town line. Assuming the police tried to pull him over somewhere between the shell station and the town line we are talking a matter of seconds that the Kingston cops would have even had the opportunity to chase him. Even after the Kingston cops backed off witnesses report he continued to accelerate as he approached a very congested area of Plaistow. This entire ordeal could not have taken more than 3.5 minutes start to finish. Let's not blame the cops. Seeing as Alycia worked a place where the cops frequently stop for coffee and gas - I'm sure they knew her and feel just as terrible as everyone else who witnessed this tragedy. It's so easy to play the blame game, but at the end of the day any sane person following this story knows exactly who is responsible.
