You're missing what was arguably the biggest rename announced at Ignite:

Azure Defender and Azure Security Center both got renamed with a single new name:
Microsoft Defender for Cloud

In addition, all the "Azure Defender for [resources type]" threat protection plans got renamed "Microsoft Defender for [resources type]" (for example, "Azure Defender for servers" and "Azure Defender for Storage" became "Microsoft Defender for servers" and "Microsoft Defender for Storage" respectively).

When I started reading this post about Project Svalbard I thought you were going to end it with a link to a careers page 🙂

This post needs a massive warning attached to it.
I have an iTunes account in each of three different stores/regions: UK, US, and Israel. This is perfectly legitimate and allowed under Apple's T&Cs. The problem is that as an Apple Music subscriber, as soon as I switch away from my 'main' account, my downloaded music library is deleted! That happens even if I don't open the music app and am only in the 'alternate' region for a minute or two.

A key Bluetooth feature for many buyers (whether they realise it or not) is Multipoint: the ability of the headphones to connect to multiple devices simultaneously, i.e. without having to play with Bluetooth settings on a device every time you want to switch between them.
Do you know which of these earbuds has this feature? I know for sure that the Jabras do and the Apple ones don't.

One core feature available on many task apps (but not Google's apparently): share a list.
I'm using Wunderlist (Microsoft's free tasks app) and the sharing is excellent. However, their UI for subtasks sucks in comparison with Google's.

This one's not exactly true. If you keep pulling up (after the dock appears) you end up in the app switcher and that's where you see the control center. A single tap on your app brings you back to what you were doing. Which means that it's effectively unchanged in terms of the user experience from the previous version.

"No 3D Touch App Switcher"
This one was actually announced at the WWDC. They removed it temporarily. It's already back in the latest beta. It will return but wasn't ready in time for the iOS11 release. The fact that it's missing on my main device drives me nuts multiple times a day!

Maybe Microsoft got a bargain: you're arguing they shouldn't have paid a "hefty £26.2bn" but they actually only paid $26.2bn. The currency makes a £4.4bn difference!

Like you, I experienced months of frustration. I bought my lock and wifi module in June 2015 and only received the lock in April 2016. I'm still waiting for the wifi module.

My initial impressions are that the hardware and software still need some work. However, the company have got better at communicating their efforts and there have been firmware and app updates since I received my product only two weeks ago. So I'm optimistic that they're working hard on all the remaining issues and that I'll get my Wifi module soon as promised.

I'd also point out that they've had marketing videos featuring an Android app for a very long time (and that was part of the reason I bought this - allowing for all family members whether Google or Apple fans to have digital keys) but the app isn't available. That's something they don't tell you but that I've found out the hard way.

PayPal's 2FA implementation is shockingly behind industry norms. Furthermore they operate in the blinkered US-centric view common to many ecommerce sites that barely acknowledges the world outside America. Although PayPal facilitates payments worldwide they bizarrely only allow American customers to use two factor authentication. The rest of the world apparently doesn't deserve to trade with security.

I'm a long-time OneNote user but recently switched to Mac and this is a massive obstacle for me. Corporate rules are forcing me to switch to Evernote but I'm hoping I can find a workaround that lets me keep working in OneNote. Have you found a way to sync OneNote files from OS X El Capitan via something other than OneDrive?
