Sounds like a perfect day! I tried and tried to get a shot of the moon. I need to invest in another lens...mine is for macro...and I couldn't get it to focus for anything. The Super Moon was amazing though.

Tulsa looks so beautiful - I need to get to the parks when I am there more - we mainly stay towards 71rst st and it's just not pretty at all.

I have the exact same rule in my house with sometimes the exact same results - minus the vodka and red bull - that is usually replaced with a cup of coffee or a glass of white wine. It's just a part of growing up and I don't think it's harsh - but necessary. I would have also reminded my kids that if they asked me to make them something and then turned their noses up at it - that I wouldn't be so sweet to them the next time they requested something special for dinner.

I don't really have anything good to read right now for myself - but my kids are really enjoy reading Super Fudge with me every night. I am going to make this a nightly ritual as the reading of a couple of chapters each night has made bed time that was once a nightmare - a little more enjoyable for everyone.

I tried watching a Halloween marathon on Friday the 13th - but it's just as scary (if not a little more corny) then when I was a kid - did not help that Hubby fell asleep half way into the first movie.

I need to do the closets too - maybe I will put that on my to - do list for tomorrow. First I will have to convince Hubby to get rid of everything that we don't need.
