An update was released to the AverMedia Center software since this review was put up. There is almost no delay while capturing to the point where you can now play intense games (like Call of Duty) with no trouble. Specifically, it's like a 10ms delay compared to playing it on a TV.

Agreed. Apple having complete ownership of such simple functionalities pretty much destroys the the smartphone business. Apple should not have the right to 'own' simple capabilities such as 'pinch to zoom' just like no one has ownership over 'touchscreen'.

This seems like another attempt at getting people to try out new features so they can buy them. Remember when PSN went down and they gave out a bunch of one-month subscriptions to their media services? I think they did that so people will try them so people will be addicted and buy them. In this "appreciation" giveaway, I think it's a marketing scheme to get people to try stuff (like DBZ shows and movie). This is probably why they're giving away free Xbox One 'One Year' pictures and telling the users they can put it on their Twitters. It's advertising.

The VR headset is amazing. But I think they over-advertised it in the advertisement video for it.
