The way I understand it, since U2F works with public and private keys, even if someone got ahold of services A and Bs user database, since on register a new pair gets created, no one will be able to correlate the data. See: https://www.yubico.com/solu... "U2F Advantages"

You can use the same key on multiple services. What I don't know if you can use the same key on the same service multiple times (like a work and personal account).
The brake/lose situation is remedied either by adding multiple devices (required for Google) or using other methods (like classic OTP like Dropbox does)
And if you don't buy a device with NFC/BT, then yes, you have to buy a new one. And not all new authentication standards are added to old hardware.

And what do you mean with the last question?

You evaluated Googles Advanced Protection Platform and it obviously works with iOS as well.

Yubikey 5 Series NFC only works with iOS apps that support it, I guess it's the same for the Feitian BT fob? If I enable U2F in Dropbox or GitHub, how will I authenticate on my iOS devices? How about websites without an app? WebAuthN would be the standard for that one, but will iOS get it? Currently, if you enable U2F in Dropbox, you can still authenticate with an OTP (you can't disable OTP)

Not that I'm against U2F and real hardware authentication, but I'd like something that really works everywhere! At least we are going in the right direction.

I'm throwing in Stuart Clarkson and myself. If you want to use the PwnedPasswords on your own system, partitioning the three files makes searching for them really fast.
My updated version of his PowerShell script (which churns through the data within minutes, not days) is available here: https://gist.github.com/mei...
With the partitioned files you could easily import them into a db or use the files directly. Like in my other submission:

For roaming to work good you should set a minimum RSSI for each AP:

Most clients will try and stay connected to the AP they are connected to. Often you go to the other side of the house and still be connected to a far away AP even though you are closer to another. With a minimum RSSI the AP will disconnect the client if the signal isn't strong enough and the client will try to reconnect to an AP with a better signal.
I only have one AP, so I don't need to change this setting, but it sure helps in multiple AP environment.

Otherwise you only have to have the same SSID and security settings and roaming will work.

We have two different WiFi setups at the company I work: Aerohive and UniFi. Aerohive is available in our main offices and works superb. You have some more configuration options and services than with Ubiquiti, but you can't ignore the price!

When time came to setup a multi AP WiFi in one of our little branch offices, and Aerohive simply wasn't affordable for them, I went with Ubiquiti. And we got 6 UniFi AP-Pros for the price of 1.5 Aerohive APs (and their required licenses!). And you don't necessarily need the cloud key, either. Ubiquitis Controller is available as a simple install on Windows, Mac and Debian/Ubuntu Linux devices. And I have two SSIDs, two VLANs and one network uses EAP with Active Directory certificate RADIUS authentication. And it works great without a hitch for over a year now.

I was astounded at what I got for the money. For something that isn't Ubiquitis main concern they do a very good job at it! At home I just need one AP, and I'm currently waiting for one with 802.11ac Wave 2 and MU-MIMO. As soon as one comes out I'll get one for sure!

Noch mal zum Thema Umbrüche: Kann man das dann nicht so machen, dass man selbst entscheiden kann, ob das Bild eine Ebene nach oben oder unten kommt (momentan muss man das ja recht umständlich mit nacheinander Antippen der Elemente machen, von unten nach oben) und ob Text umbrochen werden soll oder nicht? Bild hinter den Text kann ich noch verstehen (wenn es relativ hell ist), aber über den Text? Warum schreibe ich was, was ich dann nicht lesen kann?

Thema Weltkarte: Mir ist wieder eingefallen woher ich das Feature kenne: Facebook :D Wenn man das Timeline Profil aktiviert hat, gibt es die nette Kartenfunktion. Darin sieht man dann entfernt wo man überall war und wieviele Orte man besucht hat und je näher man sucht um so genauer wird's. Die Foto-Applikation von iOS machts ja genau so mit den Fotos!

Danke für die geniale App! Hier mal meine Ideen:
- Textumbruch um Bilder
- Weltkarte mit den Einträgen. Neben einer Kalenderansicht kann man so auch schnell zu den Gedanken von damals "hinfliegen"
- iCloud Sync inkl. iPhone Version zum Sammeln von Themen

Gerade letzteres fehlt mir, denn mein iPad habe ich nicht immer dabei. Gerne würde ich schon mal Events schriftlich festhalten, die ich dann in mein Tagebuch ausformuliert übernehme. Nicht immer gibt ein Foto meine Gedanken wieder, welches mir dann dank Fotostream am iPad zur Verfügung steht.

Zudem gefallen mir eigentlich alle Ideen von laximilian ;)

Nicht schlecht, Ihr bessert euch wirklich gut!

Dieses mal fand ich es auch etwas strukturierter. Ihr solltet euch für die Zukunft immer irgendwelche Fußballspiele aussuchen, vor denen Ihr eure Aufnahme macht. 15 Minuten vor Anpfiff mit der Aufnahme beginnen, der Zeitdruck wird euch helfen, euch kurz zu fassen :P

Nächstes großes Verbesserungskriterium (Wie Dargel schon sagte): Der Sound! Kann man mit iMovie nicht auch am Sound schrauben? Probiers mal!

Hey Jan, lange nicht mehr "gesehen", Twittertechnisch bin ich aber gut auf dem laufenden! Was jetzt folgt bitte einfach nur als sachliche Kritik ansehen, ich möchte nur, dass die nächsten Episoden besser werden:

Video ist soweit ganz gut, aber euer "schnellsprechen" hat nicht geholfen :D Ich hoffe, ihr schafft es, das Video unter 15 Minuten zu bringen - Fakten, Fakten, Fakten nicht so viel labern - dann habt ihr nen treuen Listener, äh, Watcher!

Und bitte besser vorbereiten, Impro-Videos sind sehr gefährlich! Außerdem wird das Video automatisch kürzer.

Alles gute für die Zukunft, auf weitere gute Videos!

Ich hoffe mal, dass Notes auf MobileMe auch Notes auf Exchange bedeutet! Dann fehlt ja "nur" noch eine mit Exchange Syncbare Tasks App! Das wichtigste kommt wohl erst zum Schluss oder gar nicht! Scheiß auf Copy and Paste, Tasks sind viel wichtiger, und die müssen auch mit Exchange abgeglichen werden können!

Das ganze iPhone wird geleert. Warum das so lange dauert? Weil die Speicherzellen mehrmals überschrieben werden, damit auch eine forensiche Untersuchung schon probleme bekommt!

MobileMe machts nicht falsch, weil Exchange es auch nicht macht. Mein iPhone Synct nämlich darüber und ich habe auch nur einen Kalender, dafür mehrere Kategorien. Hoffentlich wird es bald nachgeliefert wie eine mit Exchange syncbare Aufgabenliste!
