Being gay is not a sin. It's the act. I truly believe there are people whose brains get wired differently and cannot help whom they are attracted to. It is acting on that attraction that is the sin. And mostly, it is the breaking of God's law of chastity and virtue.

I am going to make an analogy here, and y'all don't read anything more into it. Being a pedophile isn't illegal. Being an individual with an aberrant attraction to children isn't illegal. It is the ACTING on that that is morally and legally wrong.

(DISCLIMER: I am not saying homosexuals are child molesters. I am not insinuating anything even remotely close. I just needed an example that is comprehensible in its simplicity)

What fruit has the destruction and disdain for the traditional family and chastity borne? An astronomical number of unwed poverty stricken single mothers, broken homes, unsupervised amoral children, and rampant abortion and sexually transmitted disease. Yep, those are such good, respectable fruits.

I'm a Palin supporter and I thought it was ridiculous when she got all up in a huff over the word. It only has as much power as you give it, and if you choose to get offended over a word, then that is your problem. I want Rahm Emmanuel gone for reasons other than he used the word retarded.

Definition of Retard: 1) to cause to move more slowly or operate at a slower rate; "This drug will retard your heart rate." 2) anyone who gets offended over the word retard.

I agree with you. The explanation just doesn't seem to jive, right? I think they're running scared, and just like when they dropped Glenn Beck and Jerry Doyle before, it's going to bite them in the butt.

I'm trying to avoid a knee-jerk reaction here; it seems, however, bad timing to remove Dr. Savage at the same time he's fighting the British to remove his name from the watch list. I dislike the "going in a different direction..." spiel.

Please clarify: What is this new direction? And the "more local content" sounds eerily like the "Localism Boards" that the White House has been pushing. These are just my first reactions...

From what I hear, however, John & Ken are on top of California issues, which is good; we have to impact California in order to impact the nation.
