OK. I'm in my usual contrarian mode - but I'll bet you ten times more people found out about/learned about the puff from the lowest-rated TV station in the market than found out about it on Twitter.

What's the reach of Twitter in PDX. 5% of adults. 10%? Let's go crazy and say it's 20%. That PALES in comparison to the reach of any of the TV stations or even the newspaper in the market.

Was the story big on Twitter? Yes. Is Twitter a force? Sure. But to make it sound like most folks got their info from Twitter is overselling it a bit.

So you'll have a pocket full of cash and no users? How does that make sense? Bing is now trending down in user share after its initial bump. It would be like only having your news available to Mac users. Great audience, sure... but not big enough.

When I read Swisher's quote I thought it was a naive thing to say -- since Google isn't going to just sit by and let Bing have any type of advantage.

Bing still has not provided a compelling reason to use it over Google, which explains why it's share has already begun to slump.

doc brown, the signal sounded better the past 3-5 DAYS??? explain that feat of engineering. actually, i hadn't noticed an improvement.

i kinda wonder how 102.1 out of twin falls(?) would do here.

The music on the Monster was OK at times...but as soon as the Jocks came on...game over. Glad to hear the jocks on Virus so far are 100 times better than Monster...they don't sound like a kid right out of a Jewelry store...

Imaging is pretty good too...sounds different than what Boise is used to...and the station runs tight. Kevin and Bean will take some getting used to...but the board work was tight...that helps a ton.

As for the signal in buildings...I've said that many times here on the board...Don says he can not get it at KTVB...I could not get it at 15th and Bannock...but the post office down by the greenbelt gets it fine..

I listened to the Music Monster and felt it played better music than then the competition in Boise, but how did that work out? 2. The tag line:
If it is going to be alternative, play alternative. If it is going to be modern rock, call it that. Even I like a wide variety of music, but I don’t see how Bush and Coldplay fit together and how they are alternative. New Radicals “Don’t Give Up”, REM, U2 “Pride”, and “When You’re Strange” (was that the Doors’ version?) are alternative and go with Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and Green Day? The station sounds like a train wreck at times, but everyone loves a good train wreck and I may be wrong.

Something isn't right. In one post you say MSNBC topped CNN in prime. In the very next post you said CNN was #23 and MSNBC was #25 in prime.

Which is correct?
