The problem with this one is that it seems their official site Noqoush.com isn't up yet; so the choice was to not link to it, rather than link to it and send the reader off to nothing.
However, other than cases like this, there usually always is a link or two in the posts, linking off to a relevant site or to more details.

Interesting point, and I do agree that as someone who has blogged in both English and Arabic, I find it a lot easier to type in English than Arabic; but that's also due to me using the English keyboard more than the Arabic one. I have to say though that once I stuck to blogging in Arabic for a while, I started finding my way around the keyboard pretty easily and it wasn't much of an issue anymore.

I think that even though this plays a role by holding back potential writers/bloggers who could be producing more Arabic content online, there are also bigger things that have a maybe even bigger effect that have put us in this situation we're in.

The thing is they only have that advantage in the UAE market, but this platform is supposed to be for the whole region, so it's not as easy.

Well Musahama was a bit different, it was UAE only and for a specific purpose; so not the kind of project that would catch on with the general population in a big way.

However this is a broader effort, and it seems they're targeting the whole Arab world, rolling it out in the 3 most used languages in the region.

I agree, it is an uphill climb for them in a space dominated by Facebook and co., but do you think there's no room at all for something regional?

Touché, lol... Don't worry about that, the blog has gone back to providing full feeds.

In fact it has been providing full feeds ever since it was launched over 2 years ago; it's just the past couple of weeks where that changed as I was experimenting with something between wordpress and feedburner.
