I suggest you read his masterwork Mind and Nature, the culmination of the various "steps" he outlined in the book you reviewed. His work became far more profound, if you can believe that.

Gregory told me Mind and Nature was clearly his most important work.

Tesla won't go bankrupt.

Recall several years ago when Musk and Eric Schmidt of Google were finalizing a sale of Tesla. Musk backed out at the last minute when he realized SpaceX could purchase Tesla.

Now SpaceX has far more cash than back then. They will bail out Tesla in a worst case scenario.

I note that the first "sentence" of your fifth paragraph is actually not a complete sentence.

Many years ago, I recommended to Tesla that they dispense with assigning numerals to model numbers. For example, I proposed naming the Model "S" "Equus", Latin for "horse".

I said this because it accelerates faster from 0-60 mph faster than a Ferrari Testarossa. I said they could market it (and the Model "3") as a "muscle car" for this reason. However, they said they wanted to compete with the Nissan Leaf.

They said no.

Your article raises another serious problem with only using numerals to describe model numbers.

This is what happens when you put engineers in charge of marketing.

Which prompts my question.

The benefits of hand washing are well known, but face washing is rarely discussed. To me, facewashing seems a sensible supplement to general hygiene, since so many of these viruses enter through our mucous membranes.

When you distribute behavioral changes like face washing over large populations (such as those at risk of Ebola in West Africa), the possible benefits seem tangible.

Am I mistaken?
