Yeah, we have an unobstructed supply of oil energy even if its price rises to $200 or $300 a gallon. But we don't have a fucking alternative to that. We've blown off solar and wind energy and literally paid developers to shut down already-built projects. And as a result we don't have reliable, reasonably priced energy for our farmers among others who are affected.

As to slavery, YES, YES, and YES. So shut up about an idiotic false comparison. Slavery and its consequences make up a very large part of US history. Plane crashes do not.

Trump apparently is unaware that James Polk, whose picture hangs on his wall in the Oval Office, averted a potential war with Great Britain over the Oregon Territory, which at the time was jointly administered by the US and Great Britain. The Americans were claiming the entire territory up to Alaska as part of America's "manifest destiny," threatening a war with the slogan "54-40 or fight" (which referenced the latitude of the northern border of the area). To avoid war, Polk made a deal with Britain (like nobody has ever seen!) that gave the US the territory south of the 49th parallel, which is the "arbitrary" line on the map constituting the northern border, and ultimately became Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and part of California, and giving up claims to the part of the Oregon Territory that eventually became British Columbia.

You need to take into account the fact that these shows aren't shot on a linear schedule. It's shot on the basis of schedules for particular locations, which may only be available or suitable at certain times. Iceland winter is only available at a particular time, whether it's for an early or late episode. And so the stuff that is shot last is all the stuff that needs to be shot at one particular location, whether it's in episode 1, 2, 5, or 8 (or a combination). So the fact that someone was on set through the end of shooting doesn't mean he or she was in ep8 at all.
