Here's an article I wrote on the Cradle of Civilization - join the debate! http://heritage-key.com/wor...

Re: It's Official: Rezzable Is A *Bottom-feeder*

I see your point (though, like Ann says all you've got to do is press the link and you never have to hear from us again) - but it seems to me, as a comparably inexperienced webaddict and SLer, this is just a tad over the top? I mean, the links you've so painstakingly gone through and broken are genuine news/feature articles on real life issues, written by professional, published writers for a site thousands of others enjoy.

I guess what I'm asking is, without being confrontational, why such a strong reaction?

Re: King Tut's Tomb Set For 5-Yr Renovation Project - Travel Getaways News Story - WISC Madison

These brown spots are everywhere. I had no idea they were so mysterious, just assumed they were the result of bacteria growing between cracks in the paint. Restorers have done a great job in Horemheb's tomb lately, let's hope they can sort out King Tut's. In the meantime you may want to have a look at our virtual reconstruction at Heritage Key.

Re: Prehistoric tools found on Isle of Shoals

American discoveries are happening every day! Just last week I wrote three articles about Native American finds. But there is currently a huge problem in the States concerning the preservation of ancient sites, and the smuggling of artefacts. Just last month, 25 people were arrested as part of a huge sting operation in Salt Lake City. Let's hope the police can worm out more illegal dealers - and that America's historic knowledge can grow thanks to experts like those at Cornell.

Re: The Lost Pyramids of

Explain??

Re: 24 Hours in: London

I've lived in London my whole life (I'm only 23; not some sort of wizened old man) and I can safely say that, as a tourist, you should be avoiding Leicester Square and its environs at all costs. By all means head to Chinatown for a cheap meal, or Soho for some decent pubs - but if you want the best music, coolest/fittest people and trendiest bars then you've gotta head east. Shoreditch and Old Street are inexplicably missed by foreigners when they've got the best nightlife. Check out Hampstead too, beautiful - Dickensian London for those who know the city through foggy fifties movies.
