For me it's 60 secs as a long time shooter gamer going back to the initial release of Wolfenstein and Doom. Interesting concept to have a simple time and life limit.

Folders intermittently crashes. When this occurs the only wy t get it working again is to uninstall and re-install.

Also is there any way to add apps based on GUID if the app is beta, but private MarketPlace installed?

Additionally a way of caching folder names and content would be greatly appreciated. Ideal would be off device (cloud) for easy re-set-up.

Finally sharing code or erflecting the capability to access downloaded apps list like reinstaller would be cool to shorten filtered list and speed up set-up.

Running on a dev unblocked and not interop lumia 800 so assumed I couldn't edit hubtype.

Anyway the bigger issue was the crash and inability to re-open.

Installed. Bit disapointed that there was no Folders in Settings option, having to install as stand allone app.

Big problem was that after creating a folder with 14 apps in clicked on save and app crashed. Unable to re-open. Didn't do this on last version. Using Nokia Lumia 800 dev unblocked with latest FW.

Re-booted phone and still no joy. Forced to uninstall. :-(

Anyone know how I can get the codes for apps which are beta, but downloaded voa the MarketPlace, just not found via MarketPlace search. Ala Skype Beta and Nokia Pulse.

Mucho interest here, just need that search apps on phone functionality in the Folders app as love that one. Realise there are limitations for dev unlocked only phones though (Nokia Lumia 800).

Sorry to say that windows phone devices were already "fragmented" as not all devices have the complete hardware set required to support current apps available from the marketplace.

An example of this is the Nokia Lumia 800 and 710, as Tango (Video app) supports a front facing camera which these devices do not have. This case is ratified somewhat by the ability to use the rear camera for partial video chat (Only one person can see the other at any one time).

Another example is "Tools for Phone 7", which if navigated to via a Nokia Lumia 800/710 on the Marketplace displays the "This application uses features your phone doesn't have." as these devices do not have a gyroscope.

Thought I'd mention that there was an additional issue that was to be solved by the latest update. This was the issue that a number of Nokia Lumia 800 devices required connection to a PC to wake them up if they were discharged.

I am happy to say that the update also rectified this issue.

Major item you missed is that it is a Belle only update. Users of Symbian^3 or Symbian Anna devices need to wait until the february Belle update rollout after which time they will be able to update the social app.

Following on from my last post. You can manually edit the app name and address at the bottom of the add app screen, but the the screen does not scroll so you cannot see what you are typing (on Nokia Lumia 800 at least).

After playing with it a little myself. The add app seems to be very sensitive to where you press and seems to need more of a 1 second press rather than a quick tap. At first I couldn't get it to respond, but doing the longer more acurate press seems to work for me (Nokia Lumia 800).

A couple of simple questions.
1) Any way users could change the background accent for all start screen images (change default) so they don't have to manually change every app image. Otherwise have to revisit every time you install a new app and add it to the start screen.
2) Any way an option to change the dark or light overall background could be changed to different colour or an image?

A couple of observations/suggestions.
1) Add support for adding apps to folders that don't show in the marketplace on the device via a search. Nokia Pulse is a prime example of this in the UK at least, although it shows via the Online marketplace. A seccond example is sideloaded apps (carbon twitted client).
2) Enable users to exit from the add app to folder screen. Current you have to multi tap the back arrow until the app drops out to the settings screen.
Also as an interim option allowing users to add apps manually by on devices search or by entering the advances app name and code.

Most of the above options are already available. The SKy TV mobile app lets you tell your sky box to record programs when you're not at home based a full mobile based TV guide.

Xbox Companion already lets you connect your Lumia 800 to your Xbox wirelessly and acts as a controller.

The Xbox app on the Lumia 800 also lets you play mobile variants of Xbox game with Kinectimals being a prime example.
