The answer to that question - depends on a lot of things! Now this is based on assumption - but I'm sure if you have AMP enabled - Google will give you preference than those who don't have AMP enabled. More traffic has the potential to increase the revenue if everything else is done right on the website.

As Brad also mentioned - instant articles - its more like a UI & UX improvement for FB's users. We can say that better user experience would eventually result in conversions somewhere.

@Piyush : Fantastic post!! Although, being the tech freak that I am...I'd like to clarify a little point about Native apps. There are mobile sites, Native Apps & Hybrid apps. Using Cordova & Ionic framework - one can create apps for both iOS & Android. These apps are mostly web pages with a wrapper around it, however they behave a lot like native apps.

I believe that Hybrid apps fall somewhere in between mobile sites & native apps. And personally, I love hybrid apps! Much more cost effective to develop and serves the purpose of native apps too.

Enterprises adopting Google+ is a long term thingy. It's not a complete product anyway, however with integration of Google Apps, it'll be one of the must have tools for lot of companies. In your post there are lot of points where I won't agree.

1. Enterprise business is where they are heading nicely with Google Apps. There have been lot of signups not only by SMBs but universities and few enterprises too.

2. at one time, i used to wonder that how's twitter going to work - its working nicely and got popular. Everyone needs training and It's not that hard to figure out these kind of services today as more and more people are getting used to likes of twitter & fb.

3. for SMBs i'm sure Google Calendar is a boon. With tighter integration with GMail it'll only get popular. Apple once had only 5% share market in desktop and laptops however now its well over 9% and that too in just last 4 yrs. or so. In long term, I see that people will get more techie and will leverage online apps more than typical WINTEL setup.

4. Difficult to comment until we see how Google will shape up Google+

5. I think Google is making a point that people understand that how they share information on the internet. Better than getting negative reviews as they got at the time of Buzz... there is better control over with whom we share things. Something even FB didn't allow properly - their business pages have just started to improve.

6 & 7 - They completely depend on how Google plans to build Google+

well, issues with the service up time is something that tumblr will surely be able to tackle in upcoming time, however the platform is going to have tough time the moment wordpress starts offering similar features, which almost does. @Rishi - Well, To the point! The points that you've listed and explained are absolutely correct and pretty easy to follow. After the changes done by Google, web page load time speed has become a bigger concern among bloggers. It's good that this initiative is at least helping bloggers/webmaster understand that how important speed is in our lives... even while page is loading.. we want it to load faster.

A hot looking blog design always helps in gaining reader's attention. However, its really the content that makes them a regular reader. Well, mere lookers will always come and visit.. but serious researchers will always take action.. if they can connect well with the content of the blog... Good blog design will always help them find good content easily and will improve their experience

well, i'm sold! Primary reason for this is that there are hardly any issues when it comes to using the computer. It has never gone bad.. everything just works :) Thats why probably apple is gaining the market share now a days.

Bang on! Briliant stuff Raju. Honestly, I didn't know about this magazine theme and I'm still wondering that how the hell did I miss this kind of a theme. I can see that both of us actually share the same kind of opinion regarding the thesis theme. Talking about themes, you have a wonderful theme for your blog running too.

Well, I think even personal blogging is not going anywhere. It'll be there but just in an evolved form called "social networks". Would you mind having a personal domain name where all the activity around social stuff (much like Friendfeed) will be displayed automatically?

Yeah, even I think that vBulletin is around and it has one of the best features. Invision Power board is really impressive too. Still, I think TalkPress will do good as many bloggers who are fans of wordpress will prefer to use it with it. Pricing is also something that'll decide the fate of TalkPress.

Thanks Abhijeet! I've just installed it on your suggestion and I think I'll keep it as it seems to be offering some good features too. It is definitely faster than intensedebate, although slightly difficult to understand as well. Now that I'm getting used to it, I think I'll be fine and will be able to enjoy its offerings.

Even! I don't hate intensedebate, however because of all the problems that I started facing was more than enough for me to convince to remove this plugin and service from my blog. after suggestion of Abhijeet, I've now installed Disqus and so far, I'm liking it.

oh! I think it will go well with facebook like theme. Its got way too many features and twitter surely doesn't provide that many features.
